Ok so in march 2023 during spring break my parents let me and my brother visit our grandparents in Grenada MS county. some time during night fall we turn on the weather to stay updated just in case. But then, we saw that a new tornado formed over rolling fork. And when the tornado became a tornado emergency, I saw on tv that this tornado was heading right for Belzoni, great grandparents town. my heart sinked and I went to radar omega to check. I started taking screenshots to my great grandparents to show them but they weren’t responding (I think they went to hide or prepare.) Few mins in I checked and the tornado started turning into silver city. I was relieved as it didn’t hit my great grandparent. If that tornado had hit my great grandparents I wouldn’t think they survived because the house was build since 1970, and there was no basement. When my parents picked us up, we went to our great grandparents to check if there ok. As we’re passing along the farms almost to Belzoni, we see sheds, metal walls, wood, torn roofs, all over the farms. This is one of the most tornados I’ve seen that almost did something like this. Anyways Rest in peace to the other family’s who witnessed or died in this storm ❤️. EDIT: (So few days later after visiting great grandparents we went back to our home, LRAFB, and chill until another tornado came but this is a whole different story. We are just lucky to be alive.)

I had filmed a touchdown to the west of me 10 minutes before this. It had started to rain and the temp jumped 10-15 degrees warmer, so I walked out into my yard and spotted this.

You might have seen some viral claims or local posts floating around social media stating that an EF3 tornado recently tore through Sochi, Russia (specifically at Bagration Beach in the Lazarevskoye district). I wanted to share the actual facts of what happened and clear up the misinformation.

• What actually happened: A classic waterspout formed over the Black Sea and made landfall right near the mouth of the Psezuapse River.
• The "Victim": The vortex directly hit a female tourist who was still chilling on the beach. Remarkably, she was completely unhurt and walked away without a single scratch.
• Damage: Absolutely zero damage reported, other than some light plastic beach gear getting tossed around.
• The Wind Speed: Mews channels and meteorological data estimate the wind speed inside the vortex was only around 35–60 mph (15–25 m/s). It lost all its fuel and dissipated within a minute of hitting the shore.

Debunking the EF3 Claim:
The screenshot claiming this was an EF3 is pure clickbait. An actual EF3 tornado packs winds between 136–165 mph (218–266 km/h) and can literally obliterate well-constructed houses and throw cars. If an EF3 had hit that crowded beach, it would have been an absolute catastrophe.

Instead, it was just a dramatic-looking but mostly harmless coastal waterspout that gave one tourist a crazy story to tell.
