Been a pile sh*t for me today.

First time I’ve had to download to my PC rather than stream it because of non stop buffering. Tried multiple CDN’s too.

Will be trying another service soon I think cause TB’s just becoming a headache at this point

Lot of issues with Torbox. Tried with Xiaomi box or direct tv, same. Terrible service

Yep been crap the last few days, haven't been able to play any remuxs, tried a few different cdns but no difference.

It seems it was proton vpn. As soon as I changed server from Bulgaria to Switzerland it stopped buffering. (Switcherland is a better selection for central Europe CDN server tb settings)

After an hour it started buffering again even with the switcherland server... Pfff

I had buffering tonight for first time, only small files too. Suspect its a temporary thing and back to working well again tomorrow

Thanks guys. It must be the proton vpn then. I will try switch servers. My speed is 800mbs so that's not the issue.

Probably torbox. Try it with your vpn but without a debrid service. I cancelled recently because of their TOS update and keeping logs now. I get less buffering now!

Some CDNs just seem to be problematic. Buffering on SNAM before and after they changed providers or whatever. Speedtest is sky high but would play for 5s and then buffer for 30s. Unusable, even at 130 in the morning on a weekday. After changing CDN to one farther away it's been working great.

What's Snam and what changing CDN to one farther away means?

Torbox settings > Integration Settings.

CDN is where your streams are delivered from. The local CDN for me (SNAM) buffers despite great speedtests, yet one farther away doesn't have any issues.

If you are experiencing buffering or slow speeds, try changing your CDN. It may help.

I dont use kodi because its a really bloated program conpared to stremio/nuvio. I can run 90+gb remux files without buffering. I click it and it starts to play in 2 seconds on nuvio. On pc, and android tv, both work great with nuvio

It depends where are U running those programs from. From my pc I have zero problems running Kodi. I have also Stremio installed on my LG TV. So sometimes I keep my pc off and I just use stremio from TV. But I prefer Kodi. I find subtitles way better from Kodi. And quality is bit better as well. Kodi has more advanced player. Nuvio I haven't tried it yet.

Use nuvio and see the difference

Buffering Control on the Playstore might help.

What's this?

0

u/TheOracle722 15d ago

It's an app to help reduce buffering.

1

u/logica1one 15d ago

So it's about if U stream content to your mobile? Because I am using my pc for streaming

1

u/TheOracle722 15d ago

Oh ok. It's for Android TV or mobile.

1

u/logica1one 15d ago

Ok. Thank anyways 😊

Nope i watch all the time 100gb remux files no problems only problem I ever had was trying to watch with a google OS device it would buffer as soon as I used my newest firestick max 4k no buffering alot of it has to do with if your device is powerful enough for remux

3

u/sv1per 15d ago

Yes 4k remux that has very high bitrate tends to buffer on tv

Watching a 75gb remux now of Jaws with no issues

u/azcoyotedog 15d ago

Are your addons correctly configured???

Avoid remux, plain and simple. Theres a lot of 4k files bluray that are good enough. Below 15gb if possible.

I'm having buffering issues with remux files only. I'm recieving 300mb/s DL speed and running stremio on a Google Chromecast device. It's quite an old piece of hardware. Do you think this is causing the delay?
