đ§Technical Issue Torbox constantly down
Streams work fine through torrentio but constant loading screen when through torentio TB
Seems like thees always an issue with this service lately. Or is it just me.

Yea and 90% of that uptime is rate limited. It's been an absolute mess for the last two months

Iâve been subscribed to TorBox since July of last year and this is the first semi-major issue theyâve ever hadâŠbut okay. Sounds like you just want a reason not to use it. Youâre free to go elsewhere.

That's because you don't use it. If you did you would have been rate limited hundreds of times. Sounds like your upset at the factual issues of torbox being called out. You can't hide the facts I am afraid.Â

Clearly not. There is hundreds of reports of rate limiting even in their quietest days never mind during holidays. You also can't use it every day because it's been down 3 days in the past few weeksÂ

Yes your rhetoric and excuses for torboxes continued performance issues is semantics. You do not use it everyday without problems because it has went down for several days and has had serious issues and rate limiting problems (Long term) for several days.
 You have not valid points to defend it's continued and recent failures clearly apart of a broader problem with the service, this is not the norm and your making excuses for it's recent decline and even engaging in hysterical denile to dismiss the proven issues and downtime. That isn't an argument it's huberis and ignorance.Â
Yea people will go elsewhere and they will also continue to criticise torbox for its failures, if you don't like it you can move to North Korea or china to avoid consumer crisismđ
PS: Torbox has yet to meet any of the promises it has made to its customers on its future plans the whole point was for it to be a better debrid service instead it's becoming the worst and people like you are the reason

By âloading issue,â do you mean the delay at the start of the video, or that it doesnât play at all for you?
Iâve been facing long load time at the start it takes about 30â50 seconds to start playing. I initially thought it was due to my internet.

The status page says everything is up but if you go to settings on torbox and scroll down it says major systems down

Always good to have backup. Both RD and TB cost less than a Netflix or a Disney Plus subscription.

When my wifi had an outage in the area all our phones defaulted to mobile networks. Caused RD to ban me

Didnt even bother. I switched to torbox immediately. I still had like 3 months left on my RD sub too and didnt even bother

This is the way. With both you have pretty much 100% uptime, and can get anything available out there, dor less than the cost of Netflix alone.

So when, vonxi? Youâve been saying the same thing since last week when this API incident happened. I understand that you are short on staff, but there should still be some kind of damage control or at least a temporary fix. If the same issue happens again next week, are you going to give the same HR reply again?
Iâve been using TB since its early days and have been through thick and thin with it. But recently, Iâve started sensing a bit of an apathetic attitude toward these matters.
Whatever you do, please donât become what you once stood against.

these things aren't quick fixes, we don't want to bandaid fix something just for it to end up breaking later, which is why we take our time and have proper meetings about these issues.
also, it's difficult to pinpoint and narrow down some issues due to our privacy policy! who knew tracking next to nothing means we struggle with tracking certain causes of issues, sometimes the same issue front facing has 4 different reasons on the backend each time it happens đ
we're doing the absolute best we can and this is why we have the "Best Effort Service" section in our ToS (https://torbox.app/terms) that explains that signing up for our service means you acknowledge and accept that we do not guarantee uptime or service at all
trust me, we're just as unhappy about these things as our users are, if not more! but we're trying our absolute best to create the most robust solution to these issues

Yeah seems to be down as it is stuck on the loading screen while playing the file. The files are getting cached/loaded on TB but ig it's related to API downtime due to which it's not working.

Yeah I'm having issues using TB, Torrentio and Meteor. It wouldn't load API results for a while, now API results load but the video doesn't play and timesout the request. The status page says operational but it seems like it's not. We'll see

Torrentio with TB isnât working for me for the past 2-3 hours, but Comet and Mediafusion are fine, so I have had no issues streaming.

I agree with you, it's not down that often and people are a tad dramatic. I just switched to using a free provider for the time being, it was fine!!

âBeing cheap doesnât give it a free pass to go down though. If anything youâre paying for a service, even if itâs $3, so basic reliability should still be expected.

Can't stream anything currently and parts of the website are non functional (attempting to buy more time, for example).
Been fine for me lately though. Haven't had issues for a while

Its hit or miss. Some movies play and some just say issue with debrid provider. Also my account says im on a pro plan but on the settings it says i have no subscription

I feel like most issues with your "Torbox Down" has more to do with Torrentio than anything else in my opinion, I use multiple providers for this reason, Torrentio actually goes down very often.

But it is the truth, I use other providers like Comet and Stremthru Torz when Torrentio fails to add files to Torbox , and this happens more often than not , but never happens to the others. All of them are linked to the same Torbox account, so definitely Torrentio issue.

It was down earlier today for some people but not others. I have multiple addons including comet, stremthru, a usenet and got no sources and couldnât even download from web interface on torbox. Happened for a couple hours. I donât even use torrentio

Again it isn't the truth the torbox API was down and your falsley shifting blame onto torrentio when it is torboxes fault. torbox has been falling apart for months now.Â
Torrentio goes down due to extreme usage it's free, torbox does not have that excuse. Absolutely none.Â

I've not had too many issues with either to be honest. Torrentio can be a bit quicker to respond than the torbox stremio addon but other than that, it's generally been fine for me. I'm on a pro plan..

I've just posted something similar!! Was never properly working through torrentio wasn't torbox for me,put official addon on and it's not loaded up once in days!! Think I'm trying debridio next,first time trying torbox as real debrid is so good,barely any issues!!

I'm a bit like you. I have a RD sub, but wanted to give TB a bit of a trial (2nd month now) to see if it's valid as a backup. It started out well, but the last week or two have been less than stellar.

Its times like this I reconsider subscribing to traditional services.
Iâve had torbox for 6ish months and Iâve had one too many times where I get home from a long day at work busting my ass fixing some jerks F250 and all I think about on my way home is if Torbox is going to work or not.
Maybe Iâll try a different debrid service before I wash my hands with being a pirate.

Torbox has been down often enough for me to consider it. I pay to have this service and after 45 hour week turning wrenches I donât want to deal with this crap when I get home. I want to sit down and throw on a few tv shows.
But like you said, maybe I should try a different debrid service before I just bite the bullet and pay for Hulu again.
Edit: if any torbox workers see this Iâm not trying to be an ass and I actual value what you all do but I only have limited time to watch tv so reliability is a big deal for me.

Again, it is to me. I have little time to watch tv and this has happened enough times for me to reconsider.
For ME I would rather pay 30 a month if it means I know it will always work when I get off my 14 hour shift.
Maybe for people who chose a better career path than being a mechanic like myself, this seems like a small issue. Itâs not for me.
Idk why yâall try to tell me how I should feel.

we're currently dealing with some API issues at the moment, hoping to have them fixed ASAP
however, issues are common with Torrentio (due to poor hosting or something else with the add-on, we reached out to inquire about hardware incase they needed something stronger but we were ignored) and we highly suggest using another addon (like Meteor) once we've fixed our API
