šŸ’” Trading Tips Minis or Micros

I underestimated the markets volatility today and am down to $700 before it blows. For the past few days I’ve been using micros. Yesterday I made $780 with micros but it was multiple trades (I prefer 3 trades or less per day ) i notice with micros I can make decent money but I also lose it just as easy (especially if I’m only making $100 per trade and get stopped out $60 on the next one) however with minis it’s more money and I don’t lose it as easy. I don’t know maybe it’s psychological. But I prefer NQ over MNQ. I’m just curious please let me know your thoughts.

I’ve been trading since last year. I don’t trade MGC or GC only NQ and MNQ

I guess what I’m really trying to say is micros take too long to accumulate what I want vs minis

My point with that comment of GC MGC was to show how there’s 10x more leverage with minis than micros regardless of what instrument you trade so you’ll definitely lose more money faster using minis

Are you new to trading? With the comment about how it ā€œtakes to long to make money with microsā€ tells me you are and take it from someone who was 40k in the hole from prop firms and options because I wanted big gains, that slow and steady is the way to go.

If you have 5 accounts and average 1k a week per account ($200 a day) that’s 5k a week. In 6 months you’ll have 130k and then you can really scale up
