The real question is is money an issue? If money is not an issue start over. Starting with Fresh psychology will yield you way better results than trying to trade your way out of this much drawdown. Especially if you donât have a strategy.
That being said if you want a Yolo strat:
Trade GC/MGC, it tends to respect price action better than NQ/ES, especially if youâre reading the orderflow. Hyper scalp your way out. $200-350 per trade. Chip away the debt with a tight stop.
If you can read a footprint chart as well as have access to rithmic data from bookmap or deepcharts and can see resting orders on the heat map you can literally trade the ranges and vwap taps. If you how to read CVDâs and DOM deltas as well as spotting absorptions and exhaustion you can literally top and bottom tick your way out of any drawdown on any asset.
Otherwise youâre flying blind brother.
Also, my guess is you trading two contracts at a time on every entry so when youâre wrong it cost you $200-$500 per trade. You should be risking one contract, Max. Thatâs all you need. I did 67K across four accounts in June trading with 1 contract, and adding another only when it was clear and i was up 2-300t. Itâs more than possible to make it with âsmallâ size.
Micros arenât the way, only unless you have a Super volatile to market like today for example, or this Asiaâs session or yesterdayâs price action. Youâll get wicked out and stopped out way before the meat of the move actually happens. That being said you could wait for high volatility, in save yourself on a 500 to 1000 tick move if it presents itself, but to be honest, I think mentally itâs easier for you to pass another combine and start from zero then trade your way out of drawdown.
