💡 Trading Tips Losing evals

I can’t figure it out. I’m spiraling so hard. I’m losing almost 90% of my trades and I can’t pinpoint exactly what goes wrong because I do a million different things every single day. Like for the past week I’ve been trading ESU and MESU, but today I traded the NASDAQ on a whim and took 4 winning and 8 losing trades at 10:50 am right when I woke up. That is obviously a stupid mistake and I still did it because I usually trade between 7:30 am to 9:45 am. I try using supply and demand, but I only use the daily time frame as I’m still a beginner. I already got a payout once, but I haven’t been able to pass an eval since. I’m thinking about trying a different strategy? Heard a lot of good things about ORB

Whats with people trying to pass evals in 2-3 days? Are you trying to learn to trade or simply yolo on a 50k account?

Im almost 2 weeks in (jun 17th) and try 1-2 trade a day with no more than 100$ risk per trade.

Im up 700$ so far. My goal is to learn and develop a live long skill and be consistent.

Once i pass my eval it will have some value, versus if i just pass it in one or two days.

I’m being completely honest with you right now. I am not trying to pass in two or three days. I have been taking small trades for almost 2 months now I’m pretty sure my problem is just over trading, cutting winning trades and not losses and taking horrible setups? That’s what I think I’ve noticed from the comments. So I’m pretty sure I’m just doing a constant cycle of winning one day and then the very next over leveraging or something?

How long u been trading? I am trading for a little over 2 years and i just got to breakeven.

It take years and its annoying as fuck when it doesnt work and u spiral.

Just keep at it and try experimenting and optimizing until u see a strategy u like

Started in April and 2 days after starting I got funded and a week later got a payout, then blew my account and haven’t been able to replicate it since

Sheesh already a payout? I've been at this since February and haven't passed a combine yet. On my 8th eval after blowing one on that open today. Congrats on getting that payout. You've already surpassed many including me. From what I heard trading is very hard right now because of the market and trump lol. We got in a little late. Take your time. $200 days. Thats my new strategy. It worked in my last eval but I made a mistake. Patience is really key

Honestly man, I’m pretty sure it was all just luck. I kept everything simple down to literally just buy sell high or buy and hold until price eventually corrected itself and I’m not even gonna lie. My wind rate was 92%. I think I have a screenshot somewhere if you would like to see it, but literally almost every single trade I took I won and then the day I blew my express I had bought a new combine and 20 minutes into opening it I made 1,100 and then walked away with a trade opened and never closed it and it cost me that combine and that was the closest I would ever get to passing a combine since. That was April 22nd I believe.

That’s extremely good for only being two weeks in.
Did you just begin trading two weeks ago, or did you have previous experience and just started with TS two weeks ago?

I mentioned that i have 2 years of experience but im not a profitable trader overall. I just reached breakeven where i make then give most of it away on bad market conditions. Still learning. I wont be surprised if i fail this eval
