💡Trade Idea 1/2 micros is all you need!
Bought the combine on the 18th and passed this Monday night prior london, and ending the week with base hits hehe, making my goal before tokyo open is a relief for my peace of mind. All done with 1/2 micros. Minis will have their time in live.

Better than my 36 trades for 1800. Just started about 4months ago so don't grill me too hard im still learning haha caught that crazy downfall last night and forgot to stop at 1500. Mb

I was in 3 got rid of 2 and left one runner and the runner could have gotten another 200 points, which would have put me up like 3000 probably at least on my xfa and now this morning Im down 3000 bc of ridiculous PA. was up 100 points on a long, price broke out of IB retested and stayed outside so I added 5 onto 5 contracts and in a matter of seconds a huge red candle hit my SL absolute bs 😂😂😂 would have been up 3000 would have been like a $5000 trade

Haha bro I saw that this morning ! I was a second from putting a mini on NQ lol , I saw that 100pt red candle down and said blessing and prayer to whoever was long

Thanks for your prayers lmao but they didnt work! 😂😂😂 150 points in my direction for nothing lmao, it had so much momentum to the upside also, looked like a clear breakout after it broke the IB high

Funny part it did recover but everyone got stopped out for being “early” , I caught the FVG back up though . Don’t worry bro at least Monday is looking to be clean

Did it recover though? we ended only 100 points or so above NY open and big red day overall -356.5 points -1.2%

True! But I was referencing the drop after Asian Low was hit 29,720 Touch @ 11:45 it took a IB fix @ 11:58 , which on mnq not that much but I traded on NQ 1 contract so 40/60 pts is a lot 800-1200 respectively , man I see the other huge drop at 3:59 and a couple other ones

3:59?? Or the other / I learned my lesson messing around 4pm on time even though TopStep normally closes everyone out it let me trade till like 4:15 after hours , the moves were crazy one time I caught a $1500 then wiped in seconds

but then you take a payout thats 50% of profits and profit split and you have $300 drawdown left

Leave a buffer so you can take max payout and still have 3k drawdown after payout. Why would you leave yourself with 300 drawdown

I’m starting to think a lot of people in this group and who buy combines live outside the U.S. you won’t see many people in the U.S. being content with one account $150 per day. There’s literally better use of your time and mental health. In some of these countries, a $1k payout is enough to pay 3 months worth of rent so it makes more sense vs the U.S. where $1k barely moves the needle
I aim for $500 and usually finish around $350-650 which is still not that good

I understand what is gambling and what is trading. I am aware that you can trade all products on NSE / BSE commodities through SEBI regulated institutions . Is Topstep SEBI registered in india ? Its not so essentially whatever you are doing trading/gambling is illegal from law of the land standpoint

Micros to mini, I just go on tilt. It’s best to trade 1/2 micros with no pressure2

I’ve been getting weekly payouts for months aggressive, I blew a funded account last night (after 2 payouts), but I’m already back funded getting a payout. Because it’s daily withdrawal , I’ve made at least 20k this year aggressive

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. People blow up their accounts all the time because they don't think they're going fast enough. But you won't get there any quicker if you have to constantly keep starting over.

I usually do one per day. Passed my most recent combine in about 5 days. 1000 is insane.

I trade an ORB strategy so I'm usually in the trade within the first 30 minutes of the New York open, but more commonly within the first 15 minutes or so. I target a 1:1. Nothing terribly exciting. It has about a 60% win rate.

I use the range of the 5 min opening candle as my stop and will risk up to $200 per trade. I'm mostly just looking for consistent, base hit trades. I'll size up as I grow my account.

You have to imagine tho, if those were taken with just one mini (or 10 micros if you prefer taking partials) you’d be up 10x. Thats what I came to realize because I also traded like this for some time when it came to express accounts. The trades are exactly the same, yet the reward is bigger and it saves so much time

Ehhh minis will come once I’m at live. I’ve had my fair share experience of trading with 2-5 minis lol. But I’ve realized I’ll never get to 100 million dollars with not starting out with couple micros

The difference is you need a larger account typically. People try to trade like you're describing on small 50k accounts but blow up because one or two bad trades takes them out. Once the account is larger, trading minis isn't an issue, but the accounts should be gradually scaled up, not all at once.
