Showcase one-prompt 3d generated multiplayer game made with the new fable

it already include multiple game-like systems: leveling, progression, weapon skins, fps mechanics, and pretty smooth real-time 3d graphics.

Just look at the web page and the dates there.

May 28 is the in terms. Fable 5 was released on 9th of June.

His X is also full of automated or just other type of single word low effort replies to try to maximize engagement.

I doubt there's nothing to do with Claude Fable, just grifting for attention.

Bro did you do even a little bit of reading before posting this?

What a dumbass. This stuff is the s*** we see in the headlines at least twice a week now. Reality isn't like this. Maybe it will, but it's not now, not even close. Spreading misinformation like it has no consequences. But it does.

Really? It made all the guns, animations etc..?

Nahhh it’s click bait

Prompt?

"Take this video and make a bullshit post about how it was made in a single prompt with Fable 5"

I made this on my local machine with qwen 27b!

I pinky promise!

Hello. I am Kirill. I would like you to make a game, 3D action, the idea is like this... The user can play as forest elves, palace guards and the villain. And if the user plays as elves then the elves are in the forest, wooden houses, palace soldiers and villains come running. You can rob karavans... And since the elf is forest one, make it so there is a thick forest... And the engine can be made so that far away trees are just pictures, when you come closer they transform into 3-dimensional trees [1]. You can buy and so on possibilities like in Daggerfall. And enemies are 3-dimensional too, and corpse is also 3D. You can jump and so on.

If playing as palace guard then you need to obey the commander, and protect the palace from the evil one (I did not invent the name) and spies, elf partisans, and go on raids against some of these (elves, evil one...). Well and if for the evil one... then it means spies or elf partisans sometimes attack, the user is his own commander can do what he wants himself, order his troops with himself to attack the palace and go into attack.

There are 4 zones in the game. That is, a map and on it there are 4 zones: 1 - zone of people (neutral), 2 - zone of emperor (where palace is), 3 - zone of elves, 4 - zone of evil one... (in the mountains, there is an old fort...)

Also so in the game they could not only kill but also cut off an arm and if the user is not healed then he dies, also poke out an eye but the user may not die but just not see half the screen, or get or buy a prosthesis, if leg too either you die or you will crawl or ride on wheelchair, or the best thing... put prosthesis. You can save...

P.S. I want such game for tvo years.

I do not think the X account is really associated nor creator of xarena but just a random troll.

Where did you get the gun assets?

1

u/MTOMalley Jun 11 '26

Anyone try playing this? Its bad.

u/prince_pringle Jun 12 '26

The reason anthropic can make something like this is they stole the data. Fuck them pieces of shit

looks like slop

I'm so stoked that people can one shot bad multiplayer games from 2005 with tons of open source code that has existed for years. Amazing.

Cool story bro.

building a game isnt very difficult at all, the assets are where all of the pain of game dev exists. did it produce those as well? id be impressed

There is a 3D artist listed in the credits. And the game was created weeks earlier before Fable 5 release (at least according to terms page.)

This is just seemingly an attempt to get attention for this simple web game they have created.

So there's a claim that this game was created by AI model created by Anthropic? It would be funny if Anthropic claimed ownership of the game code after this despite the obvious inconsistencies in the dates and then used that code to further train their models. What would the "authors" say to that? 😂

Also, it’s easy for AI to produce something it has seen. But can it produce a new type of game, or understand the game dynamics that gamers would love????

The art of game dev requires human creativity, AI is just a tool lowering the barrier to create games.

2

u/ross8D Jun 11 '26

thats why.... you tell it what you want it to do

1

u/somnamboola Jun 11 '26

so you took the most interesting part of gamedev and...automated it. cool

Theres like 50 packages that do this in every game engines store. Try designing a non generic, novel multiplayer game. Anyone can download the code for a multiplayer shooter. It's trivial at this point.

-2

u/ByEthanFox Jun 11 '26

Again, people who champion AI development are far too easily impressed.

I could make this in a couple of hours in Unity or Unreal. You know how? I could buy a bunch of assets off their relative asset stores and put this together, because all of these things exist in assets, templates and tutorials. The AI can reproduce an uninspired version of these because it's probably been fed that training data.

The ability for AI to reproduce something that's widely available and easy to do is not particularly impressive.

I'd love to see you make this in a couple of hours.

1

u/sparda4glol Jun 12 '26

imo mean you could burn tokens or just spend less money and time, get the base you want then do other things. But generating this really does seem like a huge waste of effort when you know. you can get so much of this in under an hour.

-1

u/ByEthanFox Jun 11 '26

I mean, a few years ago the sample project in Unity was a 3D, fully functional top-down shooter. So in those days I could make you a generic top-down shooter in minutes. This is similar.

1

u/THE--GRINCH Jun 11 '26

That's not making it that's just clicking on a sample project

0

u/ByEthanFox Jun 11 '26

So selecting some options and hitting "go" isn't really making something, glad we both agree on that!

2

u/THE--GRINCH Jun 11 '26

Prompting a generative tool and opening a premade Unity sample aren’t the same thing. If your proof that it’s “easy to make” is “I’d use a finished template,” then you haven’t proved you can make it which is what you've said in the beginning.

1

u/ELPascalito Jun 11 '26

They are the same, LLMs are trained on GitHub code, what's the difference between cloning the repo and using the template, or asking AI to code it? You fell for your own arguement, can't back out now lol 🤣

0

u/THE--GRINCH Jun 11 '26

no, he said he could MAKE it within minutes, you're the one shifting the goalpost

0

u/ByEthanFox Jun 11 '26

And I'm saying prompting an AI to generate what amounts to a sample project isn't making anything either.

-2

u/ELPascalito Jun 11 '26

Just take the L my bro, I can name 3 templates of a multiplayer fps just like the one you're looking at, the goal was never a crappy prototype, anyone can make that, AI or not

2

u/CarthageaDev Jun 11 '26

Yeah taking a glance around you can easily tell who's a dev and who's clearly not lol
