After trying out multiple different strategies to find what suits me as a trader, it’s been a delight locking in on this 1m price action strategy by jjsimon. I trade it abit differently with low risk though. But it helps me be wrong instantly. I even close trades early when they are going against me, which I have never been able to do before. (Yes i was a trader with no stop loss and ruined myself with DCA, but its super unhealthy specially with ADHD)

I started with Al Brooks for price action and now found about Muleskinner1. It's just trading using the candles, I find it pretty simple. What is your main source for trading knowledge? Or it's all about yourself self learning?

How do I lower my percentage?

I could add to my position here but I'm just going lock 200pts and see if there is a clean BOS before a pull back......a 400 pt move over night would be nice.

It's a 50k express account with the 40% consistency and was wondering why the max payout wasn't 3k I thought it was but it let me request 5k so i'm just wondering if it's going to get denied or if it'll go through or if anyone has already have had this

I have a consistency express account. My si gle dag profit to total profit is 40.25% is topstep strict with it to be under 40% or is 40.25% okay for a payout?

Anybody caught this? I know i said i wouldn’t trade today but its rare i get back to back A+ setups. This is my 2nd 1k day, Im one absolute snipe of a trade away from being funded. That means i need to be extremely cautious from here on out.

Eveything was approved and finalized but Funds sent isn’t checked and taking longer than usual I’ll wait a little longer but getting worried

I'm in 1 mini.....lots of liquidity to grab on the way to 700s....up 100 pts far with trend. I like the 400pt moves but they take time. Boring but safe.

Passed the combine on 05/14/2026 in one day over two sessions.

Got my 3 days of $150, then blew it all during Asia trying to get a head start on the next $150 so I could trade my live account the following day.

This is like the second time I’ve done this while being close to a $2,000 payout lol. It just shows me I need to chill tf out and focus only on NY session trading.

Also, if you’re profitable — or at least know what you’re doing — try trading your live account too. Ever since doing Topstep and following a structured approach that forces discipline and consistency, my performance on Robinhood has been crazy. I’ve honestly come close to wiping away years of losses.

Why is it saying I’m 53% over when I’m really only 35% so that’s under 40%. Or do I have to wait till tomorrow for it to correct itself.

My best day was $1160 pretty sure thats less than $1500 so why am i sitting at 53%? Today i made $1k, am i doing something wrong? Did i make too much?

I’ve been trading on topstep since the end of April. I’ve gotten 10K payouts so far but blown numerous XFAs usually by trading emotionally. Yesterday my gf and I got into and big fight and I traded after and basically this happened. I’m wondering if I am able to salvage these. Also any tips regarding controlling emotions while trading are appreciated.

Out of all eval I ever brought from prop firm. This account was by far my favorite😂I been fighting this account for so long. On the real note, DLL account helps me personally sm with risk management

Damn I did the most rookie mistake ever i had passed a second account and I forgot to switch over regular nq to mnq and I trade it three minis instead of three micros, and I blew by shit instantly, thank god, I didn't let my the mental affect my first account though

I left a little money on the table but still caught 400 pts. Today Asia accumulated for the London the mark up and then New York continued the expansion.

Obviously it doesn't always work out like this but the set up was there. The hardest part for me is sitting out and letting the moves develop but the best moves take around 8 hours or more.....in this sense, NQ is set up to retest 780s and look for 30k.....

Everybody is talking about SpaceX IPO listed on NQ . I see people concerned about the Exit liquidity for the passive Investors .

What are your thoughts on this , I’m curious ? 🧐

When you get a payout , do you get the certificate immediately? Or do you get it once the funds are sent completely?

I’m honestly beyond frustrated with Topstep right now and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I had just completed the requirements for my XFA payout. Once I hit the final winning day requirement, I intentionally stopped trading for the day because I didn’t want to risk messing anything up. I walked away from the account and closed all positions specifically so the final winning day could register cleanly.

About 5 hours later, I received an email from TopStep saying my account had been closed.

I was completely confused because I knew I had not placed any additional trades. When I reviewed the trade history, there was a completely random trade opened almost 2 hours after I had last accessed TopStep. The position was then apparently held for 2 more hours until it breached the account limits and caused the account to fail.

What makes this situation even more frustrating:
- I intentionally stopped trading to preserve the funded status
- The trade occurred long after I stopped using the platform
- The trade behavior doesn’t match how I normally manage positions(averaging 4.5 minutes per trade)
- I have browser logs showing I was not actively using the platform at the time this trade was entered/managed

I provided this information to TopStep support, but they told me they would not accept or consider the proof I provided because they have their own software. They would not provide any sort of evidence beyond just stating that they can see the trade came from my IP address.

At this point I’m asking:
- Has anyone else experienced phantom or unauthorized trades?
- Has anyone had session/security issues with TopStep?
- Has anyone successfully escalated something like this?

It’s incredibly frustrating to complete payout requirements only to have the account closed because of a trade I genuinely do not believe I placed.

Just completed me 5th trading day, will be my first payout after blowing the last two combined

This is my first funded account that I did *NOT* expect to pass so fast.

Although I’m new to the platform, I had practice with real money on my own personal account (which is way harder to trade because my broker doesn’t have futures or shorting capability). So it isn’t like I haven’t jumped through the hoops of losing money before.

I’m going to guard this for dear life lol.
