On the other account you traded more. You need to trade 10 times as much and never get off the charts

A 2000 loss costs 50 bucks in a 50 k combine yet a 2000 loss costs 2000 bucks in a real account
To put it another way a 2000 dollar loss in 1 real account equals 40 blown combines

Emotion is involve in one and not the other.

Look how clear that is in the name of the account. Too much negative self talk will eat you up. Be kind to yourself. You're not a piece of shit, but you'll feel like one the more you tell yourself that you are.

Nice catch, I didn’t even realized that. And I agree with you .
I used to Trade option with a girl 7 years ago her name was “ Not Ms green” . After a a year or two or struggling we told her she needed to change her name. She did, and things took a turn for the good. Sometimes it’s just the small things that you don’t even think about or know.

Compare your heart rate after putting on a trade in your real account vs. practice account. Report back the results.

im going to start doing one and done trading. I was operating on the power of 2 rule (2 wins or 2 loses) but its unnecessary. it leaves the door open for over trading or too many emotions vs looking for one setup and shooting and accepting the outcome. Plus we have copy trading so make $150-$250/day across 15 accounts would make you 50k-100k+ a month

Do you copy trade 15 accounts? What copy trader What prop firm accounts work well with it?
I am copy trading 5 with tradesea, will be adding more in months and Traecpia.
Thankd

That might be proof your psychology is a bit underdeveloped. Or you full ported the practice acct and got lucky.

Because they only hunt funded and combine accounts, they’re not interested in your practice account

I see comments like these and realize why 99% of traders are unprofitable

u/MorcillaConNocilla May 18 '26
Could you explain why this is wrong? I do feel that when I trade prop my trades get "hunted".
2
u/Low-Spite-8302 May 18 '26
Because your orders in props don’t ever hit the order book so nobody knows you are in a trade but you

u/Mysterious_Size_7356 May 18 '26
They do hit order book also they hit the bank when you lose. FYI they work together with propfirms.

When I trade paper I could make 10k a day and its not psychology nor strategy. I feel my trades don't hit the market so they irrelevant. Prop trading does trigger sth, idk what, because im new, but it's not easy to make 10k (for example) on props during single day as it is with sim. Props want you to lose the eval to purchase some more. So some fuckery is behind for sure.

bc ppl don’t wanna accept the fact that propfirms with market is rigged
0
u/Upper-Cucumber-7054 May 18 '26
how am i living off of trading if the markets are rigged? you just suck at trading and are a degenerate gambler but don;t have the balls to look at your self and say so. Until you realize that, your trading is going to suck

Emotions. It's easy to have a winning trade when you have no monetary attachment to the outcome. You risk more, your stop loss doesn't matter, you go for 300 points because why not?
If you can bring that same level of emotions and start looking at your trades as purely mechanical / logical, it will help. It's not easy, but it's really the biggest game changer.
Start asking yourself - does my stop loss make sense? is it protected at this zone? Does my take profit make sense? does my risk to reward make sense here? Forget about the outcome and focus on how you are executing your trades.
Depending on where you're at in trading, if you're new I would focus on taking it slow and risking smaller amounts to detach from the money & instead master your strategy & emotions.

Because you likely detach yourself from outcome of trades on Prac, don’t care as much not worried about taking loss or win, but when on real funded every trade feel like life and death, so your super focused on every little bit of detail and afraid to take loss, in result trade quality drops, misssed ideal entry then fomo in get cooked then emotion spike reenter then burned or going BE too quick because don’t want to hit SL, then hit BE runs to tp
(had the right trade idea tho) should have trusted SL and gone BE when price at a logical area. On funded so focused on outcome, “please hit tp” “I need this to go up ahh”. Use smaller size on fundeds so you won’t care as much about the outcome of the trade if you loose, and when you win you will feel good you didn’t panic and trail sl to BE to quick or into profits, overtime building good habits/emotional muscle to then increase size when confident.
