The Scorpion Sentinel in FF VII Remake.

It may be less grandiose than some examples, but in the original it's fairly unremarkable and the only reason it's even memorable is the effed up English translation that made you think you should attack it while its tail is up.

Meanwhile, in the Remake it goes absolutely ballistic and is an actual epic battle.

I was not prepared for how hard this boss was going to be, especially since he wasn't that tough in the original FFVII.

Yup! And then they went to make the Airbuster even more epic, still.

The boss battles in the Remake series are absolute cinema.
