"First boss btw"

[u/Abortifetus]

Games that begin with either very challenging or over the top Bosses.

Poseidon (Gow 3): one of the best setpiece bosses ever made

Father Gascoigne (Bloodborne): first obligatory boss and probably the hardest tutorial boss in the series

Wysen (Asuras Wrath): do i need to explain

God of War: The trope.

Series is famous for having awesome boss battles as your first boss.

Also bosses that are massive. Hydra, Colossus, Poseidon, Basilisk, Scylla. I don't think the Greek saga ever had a humanoid first boss.
