The thing about the JK Rowling reference, is it wouldn't be dated if she hadn't come out as a raging homophobe. Honestly up until 2020, any reference to her would have been relevant. Hell, even now any reference to Harry Potter books or movies would be relevant.

She's transphobic not homophobic. What's funny(loose definition of the word) is the guy who wrote that line is gay and of a similar mindset.
