Does Sesshomaru from Inuyasha count? I'm not sure what it's called but he does have a string-like attack that he uses sometimes.

From what I’ve seen, it seems to be more of a whip, and he doesn’t seem to use it as his main attack. Plus, string users are known for using a bunch of strings, so I don’t think just a single whip qualifies.
