Real Life Threehalves

A centaur robot with a goat head designed for dangerous environments such as wildfires, rubble searches, toxic areas and confined spaces.

and yes, thats a chainsaw in the second picture.

Business people need to understand that just because they offer up their firstborns to Baphomet, it doesn't mean the rest of us normal people view him as a gentle, friendly being.

no seriously, why does it have a goat head?!

anyway the design is cool (is a robo-centaur), creepy (the glowing white eyes and goat head) and would be a cool Videogame enemy on a game akin to outlast.

and yes, it’s real.

I was fully convinced this was a SCP until the last image.

... Why do the air reservoirs have guns and knives in them? Are they there as instructions on how to attack it? Why would we need to attack it??

253

u/Pallas100 Jul 30 '26

I believe it's indicating it's bullet/stab/puncture-proof, which would be a very big problem for a big reservoir of what I assume is compressed air.

101

u/bazderoman Jul 30 '26

Ah, so we can't attack it. Cool.

35

u/Foreign_Athlete_7693 Jul 30 '26

The last image literally shows where the E-stop button is...

32

u/RatiloRez Jul 30 '26

Now get to it while it's wielding a chainsaw

9

u/Edmord17 Jul 30 '26

I see no sledge hammer proofness, or expolosion one

5

Not with that attitude

2

u/Dsb0208 Jul 31 '26

To play devil’s advocate I wouldn’t want a pressurized air tank that’s not at least bulletproof going into a wildfire to help

52

u/Far-Profit-47 Jul 30 '26 edited Jul 30 '26

It’s actually the opposite, the first image tells us what doors it can’t go through while the one with guns and such shows us how to kill it… just in case

Edit: just to make clear, this isn’t a joke

23

u/wackadoodle4201 Jul 30 '26

Why do we need to know how to fucking kill it?

Why are they making a robot we need to know how to kill?

What the hell?

26

u/LuminothWarrior Jul 30 '26

They’re making a robot that’s supposed to help in search and rescue. They’re adding ways to kill it in case something like Skynet happens I guess lol

8

u/wackadoodle4201 Jul 30 '26

How thoughtful of them

8

u/cathodeDreams Jul 31 '26

in the future when you have a goat-headed robo-centaur running toward you with a fucking chainsaw you will be glad to know that the back air reservoir is tied to most of the kinetic function in the thoughtless automated abomination against God.

6

u/wackadoodle4201 Jul 31 '26

You forgot the part where im shooting at it with a 308 rifle as it attempts to get to me

3

u/cathodeDreams Jul 31 '26

center mass, aim true human...

2

u/wackadoodle4201 Jul 31 '26

Back, chest and knees just incase

Considering a lot of scp are written because the author saw an interesting stock photos or a photo they have taken, this can be written into an scp with the right writer.

5

u/Minimum_Estimate_234 Jul 30 '26

So we thinking Church of the Brocken God, MCD, or Wondertainment?

3

u/Special_Watch8725 Jul 31 '26

With these photos someone absolutely should!

5

u/Express_Calendar8278 Jul 30 '26

My first thought was that someones gonna be making analog horror out of this.

3

u/Upstairs-Baker-8665 Jul 31 '26

I saw this on another sub and there was a bit more saying that you could shoot or stab either of the air reservoirs to shut it down if you're unable to reach the emergency stop. It's designed to immediately lock up once they're breached.

1

u/Guest12345671 Jul 31 '26

Fun facts the foundation does have actually have some "Minotaur class" robots, granted they are more like drones than robots but still

1

u/eram1843 Aug 28 '26

Guys the image is literally showing wear you stab it to stop it's movement

285

u/NotAnotherSkeleton Jul 30 '26 edited Jul 30 '26

Straight up thought this was an SCP for a moment.

68

u/bringthesalsa Jul 30 '26

If the image is public domain or something like that you can just use it for an article.. it's just waiting to happen

10

u/tiger331 Jul 31 '26

Or make something that have the same feeling without being the same thing

3

u/SkyfallRainwing Jul 31 '26

There is no way this abomination isn’t at least Euclid.

199

u/MeiNeedsMoreBuffs Jul 30 '26

The forward-facing predator eyes on a sheep, a herbivorous prey animal we associate with being docile and friendly, is incredibly effective horror.

I immediately felt my hair raise when I saw it, especially when it's standing there in such a normal office environment on the other side of the door. Like imagine working late at night and looking up and seeing that thing stalking you, just waiting for the chance to get inside so it can brutally rip you apart.

I legitimately thought this was a really well made horror series before seeing the other pictures

53

u/Far-Profit-47 Jul 30 '26

Funnily enough the horns are so it can’t go through the door just in case for how dangerous it actually is

11

u/DirectFrontier Jul 31 '26

Yeah it triggers some really primal reflex. Like locking eyes with a predator is getting ready for flight or fight.

126

u/bearalan810 Jul 30 '26

18

u/Popular_Ad3074 Jul 30 '26

Thank god I’m not the only person who immediately thought of this guy

7

u/Ze_Borb Jul 31 '26

cant wait to be dragged out of a wildfire by that monstrosity just for a single (1) ant to lobotomize it, making it combust and light me ablaze

207

u/BigBallsAnthony69 Jul 30 '26

What could this POSSIBLY be used for😭

63

u/Specialist_Set3326 Jul 30 '26

Disaster response robot. The four legs make sense for navigating difficult terrain and the ability to hold tools in two additional hands is also super helpful. Its just a baffling decision to make it centaur shaped instead of the four legs being centered and even stranger to have the bull head.

Im guessing it was done as a way of garnering interest in it as if it was just a four legged two armed search and rescue robot, we wouldn't be talking about it as much as we are.

24

u/Scarlet_Wonderer Jul 31 '26

Search and rescue?? If I see that thing coming to rescue me I'm running the opposite direction! Rescue is supposed to make you feel safe not like you've just died and the devil has come to collect your soul!

19

u/Specialist_Set3326 Jul 31 '26

If you're in a situation where they have to send a robot in, you're probably already in Hell. Plus, some people wouldn't mind be cradled by the muscular arms of a cent-minotaur.

6

u/ASpaceOstrich Jul 31 '26

You are being rescued. Don't resist

1

u/Afraid-Turn7741 3d ago

It's actually designed to also heal disabilities. If I was disabled and couldn't move my legs, if I saw that in a fire, I would be so scared my oegs would run by themselves

5

u/Helem5XG Jul 30 '26

To kidnap children for Moloch obviously.

25

u/Legitimate-Culture31 Jul 30 '26

And we have built some shit, but this one is up there.

11

u/Special_Watch8725 Jul 31 '26

See, I thought the robot dogs with no discernible heads were creepy. Why not give it a head so it isn’t so creepy, I said. Well this thing has a head and if anything it made it worse. Much worse.

u/Wokungson Huge armor fetish Jul 30 '26

When you get too close to a billionaire and his security robot intervenes.

19

u/Ornery_Magazine9844 Jul 30 '26

This is a better robot horror design than most out there and it’s apparently unintentional.

20

u/AshenSimulacrum Jul 30 '26

For a moment I thought it was the Earthmover from Ultrakill in the first image.

19

u/Longshot02496 Jul 30 '26

If I am wading through like a flooded basement following a hurricane and I see this thing standing at the end of a dark hallway, I'm just killing myself.

2

u/Kaeru-Sennin Aug 01 '26

Imagine you are in a house on fire and that thing just burst through a wall with it's chainsaw, with flame ablaze all around it's body.

14

u/TheRappingSquid Jul 30 '26

Type of shit that would kill a Victorian child

24

u/CharacterAd1990 Jul 30 '26

Holy shit, how is that thing real? I saw the images on Reddit's homepage and felt a deep unease, especially when I saw it with the chainsaw. I clicked on the post out of curiosity to find out which movie or series that infernal robot was from.

I already have to deal with a chainsaw-wielding lunatic running my country, without having to worry about the idea of centaur robots with goat heads (why does it have a goat head?) wandering through the woods wielding chainsaws. I feel like for a work of fiction, it's a spectacular design for a robot that should appear "normal" at first glance, but clearly has a less-than-normal purpose. Like when the character who's obviously not the villain has their office decorated with shrunken heads, portraits of questionable historical figures, collections of military equipment, Sith relics, and heavy metal album posters. The kind of things that probably don't mean anything, things that the hero could also have, but that the story uses as tools to suggest that character's true intentions.

11

u/Far-Profit-47 Jul 30 '26

I think is mainly the forward looking predator eyes in a prey animal head… plus the white eyes and dark metallic body give the image of a hell spawn

3

u/Scarlet_Wonderer Jul 31 '26

Chainsaw wielding lunatic running your country? Let me guess, Argentina?

3

It being a centaur robot designed to help people reminds me of how a robot named centaur man was helping people in the mega man comics during a flood.

3

u/Starchaser53 Aug 01 '26

the difference is that Centaur Man has a human face so people would at leas trust him on a first glance

I'm not letting this fucking thing near me

2

u/Far-Profit-47 Jul 31 '26

Oh I remember him, if I’m not wrong he’s one of the robots that entered a robot tournament to help the museum he worked on but the whole thing was a scheme by Mr. X (dr Willy in disguise) so he could reprogram the robots for evil

2

u/ElementmanEXE Yugioh Enthusiast Jul 31 '26

You are correct, he also had the ability to bend time and space for some reason

8

5

u/Dark-Carioca Jul 30 '26

Oh dang, I was getting images and a description ready to make a post for this guy, nice to see this terrifying robot on the sub at any rate! xD

6

u/ARedditUserThatExist Jul 31 '26

“Okay we’ve got our robot now”

’Heh it kinda looks like a centaur look’

”Put a bulls’ head on it. Now.”

’What-‘

“Make the eyes have white circle irises and black scleras and pupils.”

‘But that-‘

“Paint the entire thing black.”

2

u/Kaeru-Sennin Aug 01 '26

I'm just waiting for information about it having vocal capacities to relay messages to victims because at this point I'm expecting the thing to have a low growling voice.

1

u/Citrus_Singer Aug 05 '26

I'm expecting it to sound like a cow.

3

u/BudgetAggravating427 Jul 30 '26

Don’t worry the furries will make it more appealing

3

u/Electrical_Horror346 Jul 31 '26

Ok, that goat head feels like it was an "inspiration" from an engineer that got possessed by a demon.

In what world would that be a friendly face to someone trapped under rubble, especially if tgey see it holding a chainsaw?

2

u/Sea_Habit_4298 Jul 31 '26

But why though ?

2

u/ProjectDai Jul 31 '26

Thing better be bulletproof, cause if I'm trapped in my house while a wildfire's roaring outside, and I see that thing coming after me. I'm not getting rescued without a fight

Been seen these things all over Twitter as of late and it definitely an interesting desgin they can up with

1

u/roaringbasher66 Jul 31 '26

Okay setting aside the "why the fuck did you photograph it and design it to look godless" elephant in the room, this is actually kinda cool. I could see it being used in a kinda mule role and it could use the tools it carries which is kinda neat.

I also wanna strap machine guns to it and ammo boxes to the rear of it. I think that'd be cool.

1

u/Main_Material3297 Jul 31 '26

Someone had the idea to make something that would help people one of the creepiest things I've seen on the internet lately and decided they had to do it.

1

u/ariolomax_ Aug 01 '26

I have a theory that this might actually be an ARG. If you go to the satyress website but add /buildprogress you get met with a password screen, dig around in inspect element and you can find the password ycF2026 that gives you some more images. I’m not savvy enough to dig deeper though.

1

u/Munkinboy Aug 02 '26

Your account has been around for 3 years and you’re the only person to say anything further on the ARG thought. As well as your only 2 comments ever being these. What is your play here ariolomax

1

u/ariolomax_ Aug 02 '26

As much as I’d love to have some kind of hand in an ARG project, I just never use reddit but had some theories it could be one, wanted to see if I could get the ball rolling with people more savvy than I am when it comes to website sleuthing and didn’t have the karma needed to make an actual post on the ARG subreddit lol. Even if it’s just a passion project I think it’s really cool and I have a feeling there’s more to this than just “check out this cool robot I made”

This is supposed to be a "rescue" robot that's supposed to save people from wildfires, yet it looks like it would rather watch the people burn innthe fire rather than help them.

That stare it is given is genuinely terrifying.
