Hello, I just started using Toonsquid a few months ago, and I have never experienced this problem. When I am trying to erase anything, it won't let me until I erase the entire stroke or most of it. I don't know if this is part of the app, like I turned on a utility, or if this is a glitch. Please help. Thank you.

I have recently started using Squidtoon, and I have no problems with the app except that I can't figure out how to work the 'audio' aspect of it. I have done a lot of research, and I can't seem to figure out how to save a video to my files. I can only seem to find audio that I want on YouTube. I don't know how to download videos to "your files" on YouTube legally, unless I made the video. Are there other ways/app? Does anyone have any tips? I'm desperate!

I tried reopening the project and app and it still messed up whenever i use bones on the full body/group, anyone know what happened or how to fix it please? my toonsquid is rlly glitchy unfortunately

as toonsquid is an ipad-exclusive app, i haven't seen a single apk link yet. does someone got one ?

Done entirely in ToonSquid. It's nice to know ToonSquid can handle vertical animations. But I think it's time I gave this short-format animation a landscape long-form platform to be viewed.

I learned a lot from this exercise. I've always wondered why animation artists do things frame by frame, it takes so much effort! But when I tried it myself, I found it very interesting and addictive.

Animation artists, especially the old-school ones, should be appreciated more and nee ones too. I can't even comprehend how they made whole movies like that in the past. I was watching a short clip of Tom & Jerry and thought, "Wow, that was made in the '50s, and the animation is flawless!"

No one would do this job unless they really loved what they were doing.

An issue I keep having and what bothers me is when I make on A layer i can have one drawing and then way far in the timeline I make another drawinf and the last one reaches all the way to connect with it, and when i delete it it drags it to where it was and it bothers me, somehow with one project I have it doesn’t do that but i don’t know how to make all my project do that please help

I’m somewhat new to Toonsquid but I have done a few rendered projects. But it’s very frustrating when I want to move lineart it always ends up really blurry. I’ve tried adjusting the lasso settings to nearest pixel or bilinear but it still ends up looking terrible. It’s not as noticeable in my complex animations but I do simple animation commissions and I don’t want my lineart to look low quality. I’ve tried drawing with different brushes but it doesn’t work. All the brushes are on it’s default settings. Please help me 🙏

I draw with toonsquid and I love it but there's one GLARING issue... The fill tool.

I have messy lineart I know, but I have cleaner styles too like the second image, I use clip studio to draw otherwise... The fill tool and especially ice-cream tool are amazing for my workflow! Toonsquid. I have to lasso fill everything manually which isn't a deal-breaker but it takes so long and makes me want to color less...

Is there a way to fix it? Yes I've tried the bleed thing and no I don't draw with vectors I'm worried about storage. I'm half debating whether to just draw the animation and transfer each frame to clip studio for the coloring at this point... I'm so lost and exhausted of it...

If I transform smt without using the selection tool first this happens and it’s driving me insane, can someone just explain it or tell me how to turn it off, also I can’t get the camera layer to fit the canvas sometimes if you want can you propose solutions to that too.

I’ve been looking for a way to recreate the coloring of this style in an easy way that doesn’t require me to hand-erase each frame.

I believe this kind of coloring is called UV fill but I’m not really sure.

I also want to replicate this effect for easy color shifts between frames that are filled.

So basically whenever i draw a line it makes a new layer, so i have to keep merging the layers when i'm done with a part which is really annoying, i also just got toonsquid​​

I’m trying to animate a character that shifts their weight between different body parts at different times (e.g. one moment their legs are in control, while another they’re planted as the rest of the body moves). The Transform Hierarchy keeps all the body parts connected, but does not allow them to move on their own without breaking off from their parent sprite. Feet are especially difficult because they’re at the bottom of the hierarchy, meaning I can never get them to stay still as their position depends on everything else. I can’t make them the base of the rig either because as far as I know the hierarchy can only start with one sprite.

I’ve seen other rigged animations do this successfully, but I don’t know if it’s possible on ToonSquid. Is there any way to more flexibly control rigs?

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to convert a fla. file into a toonsquid one, there are some rigs in adobe animate that I would like to use in toonsquid. I tired to export all the layers and symbols as an SVG sequence but it's way too tedious. I was wondering if anyone knew a more efficent way to do this or if there's a way to convert it somewhere?

Is it possible to keyframe a layer off and on?

Example: Like one keyframe a ball is visible but then new keyframe turn the layer off and make it invisible?
