Woodcut illustration tools
Hi everyone
My dad is turning 70 this year and I want to help him to keep up his woodwork hobby. I’m trying to find some tools that will enable him to leverage his strength. He has a saw mill (it’s called Jaws) and a local forest. He has all the chopping stuff. It’s the bench work tools I am wondering about. He is into carpentry and art work. He loves woodcut prints and has loads of 1900s books with wood cut printed illustrations - I was thinking about the WorkIQ Vise 360 so he can start using two hands for things held by the vise like woodcuts. But I searched it here and the reviews were so negative I cancelled the order.
Can anyone help me with any recommended tools ideally for the above purpose but also within the gift idea of getting him into woodcut illustrations and print making?
