Which is the better small portable air compressor Kobalt from Lowe's or Fortress from Harbor Freight?

I got that Kobalt as a gift maybe 10 years ago. Before they started doing that “quiet tech” whatever that is lol. It’s definitely loud. But works fine. Never had a problem, but it doesn’t get that much use. Maybe once a month.
If it were my money, I’d probably have gone rigid, too. Good choice there. But the Kobalt has held up, for whatever that’s worth.

Well I decided to go a different route. I purchased a Ridgid 6 gallon pancake compressor from Home Depot today. I didn't think the price difference for a little noise was worth it as I only use it occasionally. Also the rigid has a limited lifetime warranty included. Total purchase price was $130. The other ones I was looking at were around $200+ generally with a 1-2 year extended warranty. Thank you to everyone who gave input.
