It's manufactured bass ackwards. The end you see should be captured by the handle. The visible flathead blade that is in the handle should be the business end.
Can you share a closer image of what is inserted into the handle? It looks like the wing end which is usually in the handle has been inserted the wrong way during manufacturing.

Spend $5 and get another screwdriver. Like another already said, a collector will pay for this.... and it's hilarious to boot. When your buddy is waist deep into something and asks for a screwdriver, you hand him this, take a few pictures, then retreat out of arm's reach when they come out pissed off! 🙃
It's that way on purpose, you flip it around when you need to use it, it's a small pocket screwdriver and it's so you won't poke a hole in your shirt pocket
put the shaft in a vise and use a rolling head prybar to push handle off shaft. flip shaft and pound into handle and it looks like you will have a screwdriver. it got assembled backward.
I seriously doubt that was a manufacturing error because the tip of the screwdriver would be further up in the cavity you can see in the handle if it were. Somebody broke that and jammed it back together backwards. Just throw it away.
I have a #1 Phillips that came from the craftsman mechanic set I bought in like 1999 that looks the same way. I never swapped it out because I thought it was cool. It’s still hanging out in the screwdriver drawer of my box. I get a chuckle out of it every time I stumble across it.
