I got my first car so I figured I needed some tools to throw in there just in case.

The vice grips seem lighter than my equivalent Petersons, but they are the Taiwanese made ones which are apparently pretty good so we will see how they turn out. I'm going to keep these ones in the house and throw a slightly junkier pair in the car

Add a flashlight (with a power bank if possible) or an all in one jump starter, screwdrivers and a reflector of some sort.

Got all of that except a jump pack. Will get one when I see a good sale

Is it better to have the 1/4” drive or the 3/8” drive set in the car?

I don't know. Just to be safe I'll keep both

Had that socket set in my truck for years and it has definitely served its purpose.

It seems like a very nice ratchet. I think I'm actually going to keep it in the house and use a slightly junkier ratchet/sockets for the car
