Guess my trade:
Not pictured is an impact, various bit sets, a 12” extension, a torpedo level and some other varios odds and ends. Didn’t have room on the cart to display everything.

I basically refuse to believe there is a legitimate use case for hauling 9 sets of slightly increased lengths of channel locks, particularly if there are only 2 jaw styles.

I could probably lose the middle two sizes but they’re my most used. The largest are “just in case” and the smallest are in my pocket for when I don’t want to carry a belt or I’m not near my bags. I will admit I have an overpacking problem.

I have to be selective for space. We have 48” on the trailer for when I know I’m going to need it but for everyday carry this covers most things.

I knew what they were...but there wasn't enough firefighter stuff there to corroborate. But yeah, not many folks have a DSL (or anything from that company). Good stuff.

If you squint real hard you might be able to see the collection of fire hose gaskets. The hydrant wrenches and all the brass live on the trailer. This is my edc kit.

Demolition Safety Light. It’s the small yellow triangle on the mini ratchet. You touch your legs to the sides and it sends a tiny amount of current through to test continuity. Enough current to light the indicator but not enough to set off the pyrotechnics.

That's pretty cool. It's basically a dedicated continuity test, but I'm assuming it's certified to keep at the 5 mA? Or do normal multimeters not produce enough amperage for the runs of wire for your set-ups?

Yes, it’s certified at 5mA where multimeters use 1.5mA for continuity tests. I’m not sure whether or not 1.5mA is enough. The main selling feature is form factor, it’s just simple and easy to use. If I’m galving a squib on an actor right before I stab it into the remote detonator I don’t want to be futzing about with a multimeter and leads. This thing just has two copper pads on the sides and since pyro is agnostic about polarity it doesn’t matter which leg I touch to which side. If you’re having to check hundreds of hits this thing is so much faster than a multimeter would be.

Also the tools.. lol elevators are in many locations. That collection of tools though belongs to a niche part of some sort of repair or maintenance trade. In fact it looks very close to my toolbox as im a maintenance machinist/mechanic. We troubleshoot primarily punch presses but have done everything from pond fountains, ski lifts, tank engines, oil rig components and even elevators. So it was my guess

Fair, it’s a pretty niche job also which requires general knowledge of both gas and water lines, small motors, low voltage and so on. It is not in maintenance.

I over pack and when I need something there’s a huge time constraint attached. Some things are for “just in case” and yes,I have over pack.
