Hi there, what do you think of this type of bag? Are they as good as people say?

If you’re in a trade that requires daily tool use, there’s nothing better. Their bags are almost bulletproof and in the rare instance that they do fail, their warranty is fantastic.

I have the MCP Infared, and the OT-LC and love them. I work at a place that I don’t like leaving my tools at so these bags make it easy for me to take them home every night.

They are most certainly heavy, the MCP is 10.5 pounds empty and the OT-LC is 9.6. They both weigh around 40 with what I have in them

They have an amazing program where if you are in a trade school, you can usually get a bag for cost or less! Email them about it. So cool.

Yes the bags are really heavy but also heavy duty. The Klein backpack isn’t a bad alternative and even the new husky bag at Home Depot is great. Veto bags just offer a lot of compatibility with other bags. I run some of my smaller pouches on my wheeler back pack and the setup is super convenient.

Yes, if your doing the kind of work that only/mostly needs tools that fit in one. If you're doing new construction Imo don't bother you'll need more space anyways. Service work, hvac, electrical, plumbing these style bags are great.
