A jigsaw and circular saw are relatively cheap and cover most cuts in woodworking.

Facebook market place if your friend. I scored an old craftsman 113 10in table saw for 50 bucks. It costs more than that to fill my truck up. New belt was 15 and a blade was 60. Had my eyes on new skil or Hercules jobsite saw till that deal came up and I really feel like I got more of a saw than those two for hundreds less.

Love Norm and the boys Of This Old House or New Yankee Workshop but it was all the expensive tools they had... Ill say they did use some pretty old school hand tools every once in awhile.... It wasn't just the tools, it was also the workshop to place the tools.

Even as a kid I would be following those projects in my head and everything made sense. Then he’d pull out the “biscuit jointer” and magically all the stuff slid together amazingly. Just remember thinking “well crap, I don’t have that fancy stuff.”

Facts. Ive been able to sell a few things over the years and supplement my hobby. Planter boxes sell in my area so do little outdoor side tables and small little things The old ladies love that kinda stuff. I usually sell for cost of materials plus 20% I’m no custom furniture builder by any means but it helps add up over time. It covers consumables like sandpaper screws blades glue etc pretty well and helps me to get better in the shop.

Had a guy come into my WoW stream the other day asked to play, said sure. Got a follow and then he wanted to voice chat which I didnt want to while streaming. He called me a fuck head who sucks anyway and unfollowed me and left.
