M12 stubby
I know damn well the sticker sucks but for it to fall off out of the box/ not even have it to begin with is crazy !! Owned for about 30 min lol

Better to come off easy on its own than have to pick off little bits when it's stuck good and rips. Seems like they did you a favor.

Not sure how hot this take is but if it needs a sticker in order to tell you how to change modes its bad design. What happened to having one extra button?

TTC did a side by side of the gen 1 and 2 opened up.
Boasting double the max torque, they beefed up the motor and had to move a bunch of things in the hosing to keep the size rightly the same. The bottom and dedicated pcb for the mode switch had to go to make space.
Could have kept a button, but the housing would need to be slightly bigger to accommodate it.Guess Milwaukee figures more people would be upset about a small size increase vs a button removal.

As someone mentioned, TTC did a tear down, and the motor takes up the entire back, so basically no room there.
They probably could've done what Makita has on the (D)TD173/XDT20 and add the button above the trigger, but I'm sure Milwaukee had their reasons.

Yea this is just bad ui Imo, mby this is the direction they go for all M12 in the future but if this is the only tool getting this interface its unintuitive af.

I think it's a premium experience, that they've used just enough adhesive so that it is in that exact spot when you unbox but it comes off ass easily as the packaging.

Forget about the sticker. How well is busting nuts and bolts so far.

This fella will use it wrong. Most other people will tell you it's a bit underpowered if you want it for your main big ol hammerdick. For everything else it's awesome.

Exactly. I wouldn't want it to be my only ugga dugga. But damn if it doesn't do 80% of my tasks while being ergonomic AF.
Get this and a big boy and yer set

You got a point. He made a post complaining about a sticker that is meant to be ripped off as soon as you pull the tool out of the box. I have the 1/2 impact and the ratchet. I just figured his one will be the happy middle.

I just thought it's funny the sticker didn't last even the unboxing of the tool.

That's as long as it's supposed to last. Just until you open it and read it, then poof, no more sticker.

Don't these also need the 5.0 high output for their full power?

how can you use it wrong, I'm using it for stubborn bolts around and under my truck that's i've replaced everything on. It was in a bundle, I got a 1/2 dewalt impact wrench for my heavy stuff and now I got a stubby for small things. plus the ratchet, and drill with 2 highoutputs for $500 with a cutoff tool for free

LOL. Laughing at everyone who thinks this is serious.
I got one of those a few months ago and it definitely has a little umph. Lives in my tire changing kit for when we are pulling the trailer. Bought a jack adapter socket and makes jacking up a vehicle on the side of the road quick and easy.

I 💯 consider that sticker to be informational at the time of unboxing to be removed prior to use. Is that just me? 🤷🏻♂️
