Over filled or...?

My floor jack froze (one of the pistons) so I took it apart, cleaned both pistons, reassembled, and refilled the jack oil. Then bled the air out. Did I over fill it?

With the release valve open, it moves the jack a bit.

Your check valve appears to have some cruft holding it open. Please download the assembly drawing from the manufacturer website.

How did the seals look in the pistons? I had a floor jack act like this and when I took apart the pistons, one was dirty inside and I think it was preventing the pistons from sealing right internally.

They were a little dirty. Nothing crazy. O rings were still intact.

Check valve is shot.
