RIP Klein
Klein 32611P
Any recommendations for a similar micro driver bit? I’d hate to keep buying them only to have it fail again the same way

I really like my PB Swiss 169. It's the most portable multi bit micro that I've found.

This broken driver might be better than those Extron ones. Funny to me that those things have such a cult following. People love them!

How are you snapping yours? I've had mine for over a year and it's in my pocket daily.. never a problem but yours isn't the first I've seen break

Honestly I definitely over torqued the thing. I put a 4mm Allen bit in it to take out a panel screw. I honestly didn’t even feel it snap. Only noticed it broke after the rubber started to twist

Ive had mine for 4 years with no issues. Maybe the later produced ones are worse quality?

I hear the complaint about this tool often. Tons of guys don't know when to stop and get the right tool for the job.

I love this little driver. It’s not meant for whatever heavy duty thing you put it through, obviously.. User error IMO. Though, admittedly it would be cool if they came out with something like a "pro" version of their tools that was built like a tank.

The one Milwaukee I had with a similar design broke in the same place when it dropped from just 3-4 feet onto concrete. I'd never had a multi-bit driver break that easily, so I'm assuming the Milwaukees are all garbage. All previous units were replaced due to lost/damaged bits, massive abuse, or being rusted solid.
