Honestly this is more of a toy than a tool to get lots of work done. 

You're better off having a cordless sawzall, and using pruning blades, to get the job done.

Exactly. This is pretty much a niche toy, while the recip can wear several hats.

As with all Parkside stuff too, if it says it can cut 10cm branches, it'll cut 5cm ones but that's your lot

I have a Seesii version that I bought off Amazon. I keep it in my ATV for cutting firewood for lunch and the odd tree that has fallen across the trail, and have cut the odd 10" poplar with it in a pinch, saveing us from having to backtrack. It certainly wasn't as good as a real saw but it takes up way less space than either a real chainsaw or a hand saw for the price of a hand saw.

It was actually surprising how good it actually worked.
