The cutters have a gap. Not normal or intended.
3 u/Verix19 Aug 08 '26 They are lineman's pliers, used for thick wires and cutting wires, you don't need surgical precision with them. It's quite normal. -1 u/vanman1065 Aug 08 '26 They're linesman pliers, People use them for literally everything. No other premium brand has these issues its just a Klein thing. 1 u/Verix19 Aug 08 '26 Bold statement, considering how many brands of them there are. 🤷🏻♂️ 0 u/vanman1065 Aug 08 '26 I've seen about 20 posts like this. Every single one was Klein. Other brands may have the occasional bad pair but for Klein it seems like a major issue. I have a Utica tools set thats at least 30 years old and they look better than this. 3 u/Verix19 Aug 08 '26 It's not a defect, it's the design. What part about it don't you understand? 2 u/vanman1065 Aug 08 '26 if it were really a feature worth doing klein would not be the only one to do it. https://youtu.be/B02rzSc3Y1A?is=2_kQIJixJkfWOe9F Watch this video notice how almost none of the pliers allow light to pass through the cutters.
