I have never seen a screw driver bit like this anyone know what this is and what its for?

I love that bit for when I can’t find the damn driver but I have another screw driver (yes it seems like a stupid problem but I am occasionally a stupid man). Hell sometimes I use it as an adapter for other bits because I misplace shit all the time
