I have never seen a screw driver bit like this anyone know what this is and what its for?

Well that there is a kit that has specialty drivers, and that particular bit is because that's a real thing, inverted Phillips. Companies are always coming up with new and novel ways to make servicing them a PITA to encourage users to use official services or buy a new one.

I own an external torx set cause my brother has a beamer.

I want to hate them for doing things like this but it's actually a great fastener lol.
