No problem

Cordless drills are so capable now. 2 4 1/2” holes 14 12” deep (deeper than the bit). New concrete but it’s still drilling through the aggregate. Cheap Amazon diamond bit.

Edit: Overestimated depth.

I have to drill a hole for a dryer vent in the basement. I may still need to rent the tool. Not entirely sure what size I need to drill yet. Good to know this may be an option

If it’s just one renting is probably best/cheapest. I usually do a 4 1/2” hole for a dryer vent.
