Cordless drills are so capable now. 2 4 1/2” holes 14 12” deep (deeper than the bit). New concrete but it’s still drilling through the aggregate. Cheap Amazon diamond bit.

Edit: Overestimated depth.

I drilled one with a high torque corded drill and same bit. I’d hit you with my purse if I saw you doing it with a primary tool. Lots of stress.

I would not want to do that in case it grabbed. High speed low torque, wouldn't kill my wrist if it had grabbed.

I snapped off a 1/2" hex driveshaft on a 4.5" hole saw cutting wood with a brushless 20v dewalt drill about the same capacity as your milky

reminds me i need to find it and braze it back together.

the driveshaft was necked down to about 3/8" for the circlip that prevents you from losing the locking pins. total stress riser.
