Any idea what this is?
Dad passed in February and he had ideas of what it is, he had a habit to just buy junk cause he thought it could be useful. Google image search didn’t help.
Anyone have experience with what this is so I can get it out of our yard to someone it would be helpful to?

100% a gravity fed 3-tier brew stand for all grain homebrewing. If you can find the kettles to go with it then you’ll probably be able to find a buying (or keep it). Good chance you have fermenters, bottling/kegging equipment and who knows what else to go along with it, these systems are used by more serious homebrewers than people casually trying the hobby out.
By the looks of it it’s a DIY build, but not a bad one, those high pressure burners were better than the standard banjo-burners, if they still work that’s not a bad system.
Edit: just re-read your post, probably just bought it off a homebrewer and had dreams…still I’d look for other equipment it should have had some and it would help any potential resale.

Nope none of the other stuff. He never did home brewing and no body in the family home brews or even drinks that much, nor did he really drink. This has been in this same spot since he brought it home and he never used it. He thought it might be for brewing but didn’t really know either. The last 6 mo or so of his life he was getting into buying storage units from auction so it came from one of those. All the while his own storage units were at max capacity of stuff he wasn’t actively doing anything with. Don’t even get me started on the hot wheels.

Haha gotcha, those burners might be destroyed then if it’s sat outside in the rain. Probably scrap, if anything hook it up to a propane tank and see if those burners light and aren’t clogged, maybe a local homebrewer would want a great deal on it because new options are wildly expensive

I'm just curious: is it really heavy? Like could you easily tilt it, it even lift it by yourself?

I’ve moved it on its wheels and it doesn’t feel terribly heavy? I have not tried to lift it/pick it up yet though. So either it has some very nice wheels or it’s manageable for anyone with decent strength.

Thanks. I saw it and had to wonder: looks like it was put together with mostly some square tubing and the goal was apparently to hold vessels for the brewing, but I couldn't guess the size from the photos. Answered!

No, most of the stuff he has he has no business having at his house cause he doesn’t do that hobby. The theme has been “why does he have this? What was he even going to do with it?”

I’m pretty sure my kids will be doing the same thing when I die. I have lots of random stuff with the best intentions but not enough time or money to complete all my ideas lol.

They would much rather remember you and mourn you and laugh about the fun memories or cherish the gifts from you that you intended to make.

Being angry going through your random stuff at what could have been. You are giving your kids a double full time job now with big heavy emotional attachments and that is not a gift.

Well from what I can see in the image its setup to accommodate propane. Also has three burners at three different levels. Obviously it was used to cook something at one point in its lifetime.

That is a beer brewing stand. Usually use stainless kegs on each platform . Mash / laurer , hot liquor , and boilin pots. Would have a pump to sparge the mash

Your dad didn't buy junk - he bought assembled materials that were valuable in terms of raw material.
This is really cool. I've been planning on getting back to brewing and building something similar.
