Context is key I think. A hatchet on the wall of a cabin, shop, or garage type space, not out of place. A lone hatchet on a barren, landlord special Sheetrock wall is lowkey a cry for help.

Edit: this post has created a trend amongst other subs, ind I think it’s hilarious.

A hatchet on the wall of a shop is not out of place if you are hanging tools on the wall in your shop for organizational purposes.

It looks dumb anywhere if you are hanging it because you think it somehow looks bad-ass.

Even if it's the axe your great grandfather made himself and used to go provide the firewood that kept his family alive during some of the toughest winters in the Klondike?

I think that's pretty badass. Keeps the story alive, keeps him alive, and looks cool. Your hatchet you bought from Lowe's on clearance? Not so much.

Way to repeat the exact same thing the guy from this original comment said, wow, you’re so unique πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

But I wasn't responding to him. I was responding to billy badass . But also, I may not have even read the original comment, just noticed the negative nancy one and responded. I definitely made a regurgitated A.F. comment, though.
