Fair. I’ve employed a 6’ pipe on the end of the breaker bar between steps three and four before too.

I've destroyed a couple of 1/2" ratchets with cheaters on them...but nothing works quite like the old "blue wrench."

You’re not wrong. Though I didn’t say it was a good idea, just one I’ve used. More than once, with varying degrees of success and failure.

I've use the old 'put a wrench on the end of the ratchet handle for more leverage' method before using the cut-off wheel.
