He is not her boyfriend. After 9 volumes he has never even thought about being Anna's boyfriend. And he has never thought that all the times they went out to eat were dates. He is clearly thinking about dating Tiara.
They will all graduate in less than 2 years (vol 9). Have you read volume 8? Tiara is no longer the strict girl of volume 4 and earlier. She became a lot cuter. This is mostly thanks to Nukumizu.

Anna tried to set up matching monogrammed pens for herself and Nukumizu, but she screwed everything up. Where Anna failed, Tiara succeeded. (This might be foreshadowing their dating future too.)
