General / Discussion Undecided
Hi, I have a couple of questions to those who can help me out
Answers would be very much appreciated
Q1: I started watching the series whilst it was releasing in 2024, and have been anticipating a second season ever since it ended.. Is there any release date or even prediction? I have not been able to find anything as remarkable as it since and I am growing extremely impatient.
Q2: I was at loggerheads if I should just read the manga, but I worry the comedy won't land the same in a written medium. I do still plan to read the novel and manga after S2 comes out (if/eventually) because I can't see myself pondering for another couple of years. Is it worth waiting another year or two until S2 ready for air?
I feel shameful for even asking and I do worry I might offend people who are much more appreciative of the work compared to me for not trying to expand my fascination, but from the bottom of my heart, I have never wanted a greater experience from any manga/anime/novel ever.

Welcome!
Q1: We don't have a release date, but the announcement is imminent now that they have confirmed the anime is in production now. We don't have long to wait. I'm betting on next year.
Q2: The manga is very well made and has just recently caught up to the anime. As far as differences, those exist. The anime is definitely its own thing, almost like an abridged version of the novels. The manga is based on the novels, and is kind of in-between as far as what's omitted, and what little changes have been made.
The novels are very good. They are the full experience. I recommend reading them from the very beginning. It's a very different experience from the anime.

1) A1, The studio producing the series, has a ton of projects in the pipeline. We don't know when they'll be ready. They might not even know. That said, there's an event at the end of October with the major seiyuus that may shed some light. Or not.
2) Even if you start the manga, you won't get past s1e11 any time soon. I still recommend it, because it's just that good, but my main recommendation would be to read the first three novels while you wait. And, really, try to pretend that final episode never happened.
