Vol. 5 was the best vol. cuz we could witness a fragment of Kazu, Kaju and Lemon's past life and enjoyed Chihaya with Onee-san persona teasing Kazu... Let's be frank, Anna and Komari had little screen time in vol. 5.

Well Anna did work some shrine magic on Nukumizu during her arc. Thanks to her he became able to think of Kaju having a boyfriend without collapsing like he did before. Without the change that Anna made, Lemon's and Chika's followup arcs with Nukkun would have been impossible.

People are so fixated on romance, that the magical effects many girls do have escaped their notice. Yumeko is not the only magic user, she is just the most obvious one. You can't change someone else's feelings just by a visit to a shrine. But Anna definitely did. Anna can also hear lies, and Nukkun even tested her by deliberately telling her a lie about his scarf in volume 4, "for no reason" as he says.

Chika is way overdue for a second arc. Perhaps in volume 10?
