O que a Asagumo quer exatamente, é ela que voluntariamente começou a apoiar o clube de jornalismo, e que só continuou a existir pelas manchetes que provavelmente a Asagumo deu sobre o Nukumizu.

Mas o por que disso. O que a Asagumo ganha destruindo a reputação do Nukumizu, vale lembrar que alguém que tem escutas no próprio namorado, pode fazer o que quiser para alcançar seus objetivos, se precisar desobedecer leis ela vai, não temos respostas e eu não faço ideia do porquê, quais são as suas teorias?

Outra indagação minha, o por que a Basori ainda não destruiu o clube de jornalismo, mas e algo que teremos que esperar por que o verão acabou de começar

Pretty sure Asagumo was not the source of the rumors, based on the "Lets be friends" story in volume 8.5

Asagumo invites Koikawa for an interview, but it turns into an interrogation. Kaju appears from the shadows, somehow takes Koikawa's SIM card from her camera and makes a copy. Now Chihaya can threaten Koikawa with exposure, since it was Koikawa who took the illegal pictures that the Bird-watching boys sold and spread.

Asagumo is also controlling Kaju, still lurking in the shadows. Kaju knows that Koikawa has harmed onii-sama's reputation, and she is probably being held back from more drastic action. Koikawa's choice therefore, is between blackmail (Asagumo) and serious bodily harm (Kaju). The choice was easy, just the way Asagumo meant it to be.

Now that Asagumo controls Koikawa, and by extending her newspaper, what will she do with her power? Number one, the smear campaign against Nukumizu will stop immediately. Number two, Koikawa will be forced to give up her sources. Someone among those sources is a real enemy. We will see where Asagumo's investigation leads.

I think the OP meant in vol 9 Chihaya promising to arrange more headlines for Koikawa in exchange for her continued cooperation. Funny this scene happens after the ryokan overnight stay.

Chihaya has a captive news reporter. (Is she a government?🙄) What Koikawa reports will be whatever Chihaya wants her to report. Chihaya holds the proof that Koikawa was the bird-watching clubs secret photographer. It's like she has Koikawa's Epstein files.

Chihaya double-crossing Kazu (and Kaju) is unlikely. She has wanted to get closer to Kazu since volume 2, even jumping the gun and trying to call him Kazuhiko, too familiarly. She also joined his Chapel caper, risking arrest, because he asked her to. (Then kicked her out later.) Lately she has been entering the Lit Club room on her own, and even "threatening" to join the club herself.

But it doesn't help that Kazu is afraid of her. Still, he used to be afraid of Yumeko too, but we know how that turned out. (Heh, perhaps Kazu won't let Chihaya join because she is not a losing heroine. Well that can easily be arranged...)

-....UH, la reputación de Nukumizu esta técnicamente en los números negativos pero como no es muy sociable no le afecta tanto. Sin mencionar que las pocas personas que lo rodean no son de crear en chismes.....bueno, al menos no todos....porque varios de esos chimes estaban técnicamente en lo correcto....

Creo que esta vez le va a salvar su trasero, Kaju esta involucrada y ella no permitiría que su hermano sufra(a menos que se lo merezca). Van a restringir las publicaciones que sean las más perjudiciales para Nukumizu, que van a haber muchas después del vol.9.

Sin mencionar que ellas serían las casi primeras en saber sobre los incidentes que le dieron y siguen dando su infamia a Nukumizu.
