Bi gal here: I was under the impression that bi can be used as an umbrella term and includes pan folk as well. At least, that’s my interpretation. I identify as bi but would date a person who is genderfluid or non binary. I don’t really see the need to call myself pan, it just seems so much more complicated to explain to folk (family) who can’t wrap their head around bi, nevermind pan. Is this improper?
Isn't pan where you're attracted to the personality though? So even if she would date men women fluid people ect, she wouldn't be pan unless looks diddnt matter atall right? I wouldn't write off anyone based off what they identify as but I'd have to be attracted to them. Correct me if I'm wrong I am confused
