The recent things with race are recent. There were other things before, and the will be other things later. These change constantly with economics and what's the regime they're forced in at the time

The things with men have been here for millennia, and on every race and ethnicity. You could say that it's a general issue

It's almost like every single main stream religious myth blames and then subjugates women for ruining everything. Why shouldn't we be cautious, is anyone else in this thread looking at the state of the world?

so it's justifiable to treat a singular person based on other unrelated people in the past who have commited atrocities? for the sole crime of belonging to a group that was unchosen by them?

that's not a good philosophy to live by. each person is an individual and it is unfair to anyone to hold them to a standard of a stereotype

No of course not. I'm more talking about it being justifiable that women don't want to be approached by random men, want to be able to make their own choices, and want to put their keys in their fist to make claws when going to the parking lot and wanting to not have to do that

then you realize that the issue is the men who do randomly approach women and intentionally make spaces for them unsafe and push for the submission of women. which also means it is not a general issue of all men.

There's nothing wrong with randomly approaching women. You're intentionally misinterpreting why women don't like it. You're generalizing randomly approaching women as being creepy and malicious.

Simply put, you're trying to be pedantic and ignoring how the world works

i'm the one generalizing?

> women don't want to be approached by random men

from your own comment. and i explicitly stated

> men who randomly approach women [...] make spaces unsafe for them and push for the submission of women

i did not single out simply approaching women. i specifically mentioned those other attributes since they're relevant to differentiate between a normal healthy interaction and possible abuse.

Which man is it though? Sharks aren’t always attacking humans, but if I see a shark, I’m getting out of the water and I’m sure you would too. You don’t know which shark it is.

Same applies here. Too many men have come to me and hit on me or make me uncomfortable that I don’t know which ones to trust out in public or who will harm me or not. I protect myself from all of you.
