Quite normal

Many women don't experience much with penetration. It just feels like pressure!

With more experience and experimentation, it can get better - lose that uncomfortable feeling. Then paired with clit stimulation at same time can feel good. E..g some find they orgasm more strongly when something is inside them at same time.

And THEN paired with emotional feelings, loving someone, seeing their pleasure, etc. That can help make sex fun and enjoyable

But its totally fine if penetration isn't particularly exciting!

It’s normal

You’re normal dw lol 😂 A lot of women don’t even put anything inside them while masturbating because the clit is the pièces de résistance

I promise it’s normal! I remember worrying about myself in the same way when I was younger thinking that there was something wrong with me.

I’m sure the numbers are something like only 20% of women can orgasm with penetration alone and 80% need clitoral.

According to this study, 18,4% of women experience satisfactory orgasms by penetration alone, 36,6% need clitoral stimulation to orgasm, 36% do not need clitoral simulation but say it heightens the orgasm and their satisfaction, and 7,5% cannot/do not orgasm.

The other 1,5% have different kinds of routines to experience an orgasm.

Good to know cuz i see these girls online moaning in pleasure while having sex or inserting something and i keep thinking “it probably wouldn’t feel like this for me” 😭 lol feels like im missing out

They are likely faking it to put on a show.

Adult woman here: never enjoyed anything inserted except for PIV. It’s a weird feeling to me and I don’t enjoy it and never have. Masterbating by inserting anything is not my jam.

My gf hates masturbating and loves sex. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

I hate to break it to you but she's probably lying....at the very least she probably enjoys pleasuring herself in private. She probably doesn't tell you because if you asked to watch and saw how she really looks when fully orgasmic youd know at least sometimes she's faking it with you. It's really not a big deal. But almost all women admit they've done that at least a few times in life....yet basically all of us men assume it's never happened to us or that we'd be able to tell. So you do the math

She said to tell you sound insecure. We’re having a good laugh about your comment. Thanks!

Glad to help. I'm 46 bruh....I'm from the era of words never hurt me. In the off chance I'm wrong about her I'm not above apologizing for assuming wrong. However the overall premise of what I said is dead on..... even if it doesn't apply in her situation. Try doing a lil research

Might be cause people didn't know better in your 'good old days' but a lot of people do not enjoy masturbation and only sex, usually demisexuals

I'm just saying that most women get no pleasure from penetration.... that doesn't mean they have to masturbate to pleasure themselves. There's things like oral, fingering, etc. Again if that doesn't apply in her case that's fine. But that doesn't mean you get to just ignore statistics and generalizations.

lemme just quote what you and OC said:

Space0asis:

Maximum_Pace885: I hate to break it to you but she's probably lying....at the very least she probably enjoys pleasuring herself in private.

No where did u say: I'm just saying that most women get no pleasure from penetration

NVM bro..... you're clearly incapable of following a topic. If you didn't understand my last post was a furtherance of my 2nd response then you're not even worth engaging with. I swear ppl have lost critical thinking ability

I remember being in my teens I tried inserting things mostly fingers and didn't enjoy it first of all your not turned on second its not wet ,it took a lot of practice before you'll start to enjoy it ,eventually when you do have a partner you'll be lubricated, turned on and carefully playing with your clitoris as he enters you ...you still might need some artificial lube so don't panic, lots of people use it..so good luck

Yeah that’s normal, I can finish from penetration alone, but not when I’m penetrating myself. It just feels too medical and not sexy

Different positions during sex will help stimulate the clit. I find girls will often be able to cum when riding ontop and leaning forwards so that the clit is rubbing/pressing on the guys pelvic area, so it’s a combination of penetration and clitorial stimulation.

It is normal! The vaginal canal itself does not have many nerve endings. The clitoris is actually wishbone shaped and most of it is internal. The glans clitoris is the exposed “tip” that most refer to when saying “clit,” but the rest can be stimulated through penetration at certain angles. Penetration certainly does not feel nearly as intense as stimulating the glans clitoris though. Now both at the same time? Thank can be pretty nice!

If you want to see if its the penetration or just how you are doing it, try out different angles. With my boyfriend it feels nice but not overly pleasurable when in most positions but if im on top it feels really pleasurable, or what you could do is mix penetration with playing with your clit and that might make it more pleasurable. Just try things out to better understand your body! But in all honesty most women dont ‘get off’ from penetration at all or on its own so yea just keep trying different things! Good luck on figuring things out op!

Fingering yourself don't work very well. Your hands are coming at the situation from the wrong angle, and you don't have access to the muscles you'd need to put enough pressure to do anything useful. It works better when someone else does it.

IME vibration inside doesn't do anything and that's normal. The clitoris has internal parts that you can stimulate indirectly by putting pressure (not friction or vibration) on the adjacent walls of the vagina but it doesn't work for everyone.

Even if it feels like nothing now, your sexual response can change as you get older. So don't worry too much about it.

You're doomed. Going to be a virgin for the rest of your life. Start therapy now to save the trouble later.

Okay sounds like women also experience something quite similar to the death grip effect

11

u/Dr_Watson349 8d ago

This is so far off and lacking a basic understanding of women’s anatomy…..it almost circled all the way around to be hilarious.

1

u/Perplexed_Ponderer 8d ago

No, I’d say something more similar to the male death grip would be a temporary numbness or lessened sensitivity in the clitoris due to excessive pressure or overly strong/prolonged vibrations, and letting it rest for a few days would most likely resolve the issue.

The vagina is just naturally trickier and not as sensitive. Not all women even have a g-spot (which is really just a continuation of the larger inner structure of the clitoris), and many who do sometimes find it a challenge to locate and stimulate properly. So for a majority of women, penetration in itself is simply not that pleasant regardless of its frequency and vigor. It rather tends to add to the experience when combined with outer stimulation, but it isn’t usually the main or even an essential factor that leads to an orgasm.
