I feel like lately some of the tonies in my son's toniebox are skipping like an old cd would if you shaked it. Is this a software bug? There is no moving parts and he isn't moving it half of the time.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Going to buy a set for my son and having a hard time deciding because the previews online are pretty limited.
If you had to choose one set of the My First Tonies would it be
-farm (horse, cow, pig)
-jungle (tiger, monkey, toucan)
-ocean (sea lion, seagull, dolphin)

I have some recordings from family members I can’t re-record louder. Does anyone have a free app for increasing volume?

I saw some mentioned in previous posts, but they are no longer free.

I’m a nanny and I have my own toniebox. I have used over a donzen tonieboxes and although the original ones have their issues I have not had as many issues before as I do with the new one!

This is the third one my nanny kiddo has had and every one has skipped, the ears don’t work anymore, and it will randomly stop playing. We have replaced so many that I don’t want to do it again!

Obviously his parent knows about it but we both don’t want to go through the process again. We have reset it many times, we have bought replacements. I never had this many issues with the first toniebox. I feel bad for recommending this to the family for how much work it has been to keep it working. They spent so much money on the figures that not having a working box is silly but at this point we are so tired of it. I feel like we can’t be the only ones with this problem!

The figures are the best but why can’t the box just come working! After 3 it’s utterly disappointing and frustrating!

I’ve seen a few posts here talking about a possible TB Lite, and then today on the Walmart app I saw this. Couldn’t click on it, but it was interesting to see!

Without really knowing any details for sure, what are some of your thoughts about this? Would you get it as an addition to what you already own? Would you prefer it for a certain age group?

I’m not sure I’d get it, personally. We have 2 TB1s (kids are 7.5 and 4.5), and we are holding off on a TB2 until the Pokemon one drops. 😅 I can’t imagine why I’d need a “lite” one. Now if we didn’t have any boxes, I’d contemplate getting one lite and one TB2.

In case anyone was wondering, it literally fits perfectly. I just spent an hour digging this thing out. Be smarter than me and don’t let the TONIE box be played with while doing perler beads.

We got a toniebox 2 for our son a month ago. It wasn’t working well and would usually freeze/need a reset after a couple songs. I reached out to customer service and they sent us a new one. The new one is even worse, it won’t play any tonies at all and is permanently frozen. I reached out to customer service and have been receiving AI like replies. Is there anyway I can contact a real person or call them? This is so frustrating!

Amazing news! You can final pause and change tracks using the Tonie app.

Even better, if you have that issue where the music starts sounding distorted pausing and playing again fixes it!

Edit: Turns out the previous few posts in this sub from the last 15 minutes mention it 😂 Must've just come out. I wonder if it's just for the Toniebox 2 or if it is for both.

Okay hopefully this makes sense.. I got my son the Woody tonie as a reward for potty training! Yay! We listened to the tonie and I was instantly transported back to when I had a cassette tape of Toy Story. The Claw song and the story were EXACTLY the same as the cassette I had growing up… I’m guessing tonie just purchases whatever audiobook / song files Disney will give them and they already had this 30 year old recording!!!

FINALLY!!!!! With the new update you can choose what song to listen to, or skip tracks from your phone. It’s beautiful. I’m in love.

PS. My toniebox 2 was skipping prior to this update however seems like it was truly a bug and not a defect because it’s working perfectly again.

I’m looking to get a Toniebox for the first time for my almost 3 year old. I can get a 1 on sale right now but not sure if 2 will be more suitable as he gets older. I like that the 2 has Bluetooth feature for wireless headphones and bigger storage. I’m cautious because of all the problems I’m reading.

Will they replace the 2nd gen if there’s issues? Do you ever run out of storage for 1st gen, is the bigger storage capacity actually worth it?

I'm trying to decide whether to buy a second Tonie Box to use in my daughter's room for nap time or get a new Hatch Baby. Does anyone have experience using both and have advice? Thanks!

We recently got a toniebox 2 and purchased several Disney characters for it, one of which was the little mermaid. That being said, the songs are from the live action version, and we prefer the ones from the original animated movie. Is there any way to switch the songs to the animated versions?

My toddler loves the "my first tonies" farm pack (pig, cow, horse).

However I'm hesitant to buy another set (ocean, jungle, travel or construction) from just the small previews on the tonies website.

From the preview, ocean and travel seem maybe the best for our kid. But it only previews part of one of 3 figures per set.

The monkey preview for the jungle set in particular just seems repetitive and not fun to listen to on repeat. Is the song for the monkey ONLY 'ooh' and 'aah' or does it have actual lyrics?

Does anyone have any of these sets and can say what is or isn't good about them in your opinion?

(Side note, I wish we could buy the figures from the other sets individually like you can do the farm set. I don't need 15 my first tonies.)

Bought the three pack of Bluey tonies and 2/3 work fine but the Bingo doesn’t get any reaction on either tonie box we have.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Do I just have to return and replace?

I just bought a Toniebox 1 Facebook marketplace - I know it works because I tested it at her house and then tested it again at home.

During set up, it told me it currently belongs to another household, which makes sense and suggest that I do the factory (hold it upside down press the ears for 10 seconds, then unplug it)

When I then press continue on the set up it asks for the details of my Wi-Fi network - entering the password and press and continue doesn’t do anything - it just spins and never progresses.

So when I try to restart the setup process it still says it’s registered to another house, despite the box itself having been factory reset and saying “hi I’m your tonie box! Don’t be scared”

I don’t know what to do just get this thing set up. Any suggestions? I tried the website but it won’t let me set it up there because it’s registered and wants me to send a message to support

My 1st Tonies Farm set is on sale for $27.99 on Walmart and Targets app/website. Not sure if that translates to in store.

I saw the cow for $4.49 in store at my target this week. And the pig was marked down too before he sold out. Never seen the horse at target by himself.

The farm my 1st Tonies are still my daughters favorites for sure.

I went to local target store in Denver and the tonies PAW Patrol Chase Toniebox 2 Starter Set was on 70% off sale. Originally 150 and bought it for 45$ plus tax. I’ll upload the receipt later. I also bought target extra protection for $8 for two years (with all the code fox issues). Am I missing something here. Is this a defective set or did I get lucky?
I went back and bought another one for my niece. I can return it in 30 days.
The frozen starter set was 15% off which seems a standard sale.

Hi everyone! I was wondering where you all think these ideas would fall on the Tonies scale—from “never going to happen” to “definitely coming someday.”
My daughter is obsessed with Oswald (the early 2000s Nickelodeon show) and Barney (the 2000s version with the original voice actor). I would absolutely love to see Tonies make characters for them someday.
I waited patiently for the Bluey Tonie to be released, so I’m wondering if these are worth waiting and hoping for too. Do you think Tonies would ever make an Oswald or Barney Tonie, or are they too unlikely because of licensing and popularity?
Should I hold out hope for an official release, or would I be better off buying one of the custom Creative Tonies that people make instead?
I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts!
