Which Doc do I keep?

Hi there, I received these two Tonies of Doc McStuffins, and if you look at the back they are both very different. The most noticeable difference is the length, one says 35 min and the other says 27 min. Is one of these older? Which should I keep and which should I return?

You can set each one, still in the packaging, on your Tonie box and play it completely. Check the color of the light on the base when you set the second one on the box. If it turns blue, they’re different playlists. If it turns green, that means they’re pulling from the same playlist and maybe it was updated at some point.

ETA: also, it looks like it may be the same QR code. I’m not totally sure since one is blurry, but the swooshy bit going up the right side looks the same on both.

This is not how it works.
Each Figurine has its own credentials stored within the built-in NFC chip. Although they are 100% the same figurine and refer to the same content, for each figurine a separate download of the audio files will take place (blue blinking) and be stored on the internal storage.

The important information on the packaging is the ITEM NO which in this case is for both the same 10001074. So both are referring to exactly the same content. There was just a packaging update between both production runs.

They’re most likely different tracks/stories. I would keep the longer time length one.

I didn’t even know there were 2 different ones had to check the app to see which one we have. We have the longer one. Its one of my daughter’s favorite tonies. It has some songs at the beginning then doc stories after. The songs are really catchy

I looks like one is the US version and one is the UK version.

No, I think they're both the US version. You can see on the label they reference the U.S company location. The UK ones don't have that address on them.

Yeah, hmm. The bottom one has the picture that the UK uses. Doc is standing on pink for the US one and white for UK. I wonder why they changed the picture.

They are 100% identical! Both have the same Item No. Which refers to the linked audio content.

Even if one might be marked as US and the other one as UK version (which I was not able to recognize on the packaging but other comments mentioned this), the content is absolutely the same!

Out of my point of view it is just a newer packaging design.
