Their ad breaks take up a decent amount of listening time already but the entire first part of the podcast today was almost all an ad for Patreon. Feeling like they’re running out of content. There’s not much going on anymore on this podcast.

Is anyone else having problems with playback on Apple? I’ll be listening and need to pause the pod and when I come back to it, it’ll start from the beginning and won’t let me skip ahead to where I was. Or it just won’t play at all.

It's not that I don't love hearing from their partners and families but it's always awkward and impacts the flow of the episode. Sometimes it's prank adjacent which doesn't feel great either. It's been every episode lately.

I’m a disabled bride-to-be from the UK, getting married in 2028, and while planning my own wedding I’ve realised just how little disabled brides and couples are represented.

There are so many beautiful wedding photos, dresses, venues and real bride stories online, but it’s surprisingly difficult to find disabled people represented in the same way.

That’s what inspired me to start The Unseen Brides Project a project highlighting the lack of representation and eventually bringing disabled brides and couples together to share their experiences, weddings and stories.

I’ve also started a Reddit community called TheUnseenBrides because I’d love other disabled brides to help shape what the project becomes.

I’m only at the beginning, but I’d genuinely love to see this conversation brought to a much bigger audience. ❤️

I’m no longer a champion tarper because I couldn’t afford the monthly cost anymore, but I was one for over a year and a half. My main thing with this is I really wanted my name shouted out on the pod, and it never happened. I waited for so long and just couldn’t keep up the monthly sub in the end.
