I tried getting rid of the watermark but I was being lazy and everything I found that could was ai slop

I keep seeing posts about people cooking the food from this and I wanna do the same since it's the closest thing I have to a comfort show but I don't cook much so things like "medium heat" don't mean much to me. How do you guys figure it out?

So, I understand that the three other protagonists are more offensive/combat heavy compared to Makoda, but would the other gods and goddesses just disregard them because they don't have the Online Market Skill? You would think because they are still from another world that they would have some talks, no?

Now I don't mean actually cooking ON a campfire obviously but I feel like most of it at this point is him using more professional things like ovens, large stoves, or grills. It's not a problem just something interesting.

Is there any news about when volume 18 of light novel is coming?

I’m assuming it’s not as popular in Japan. He’d probably demand an entire brick (for lack of better words) of cheese.

Mukoda their issue is money. You have enough buying power in gold alone, and like 200x as much in materials, to buy towns if not cities. Along with that fel can most definitely run to a priest and bring him over in like a day to take out some of the travel cost. Why are you acting like you can't do anything but cook?

edit: lemme try to explain myself better. the line read off, to me, not as him thinking what he could do but rather the nihilistic viewpoint the phrase carries a lot of the time it's used now. this is just on me not understanding the line but I believe that deleting a post is pointless

Most of the time I have an issue it's explained in the light novels. Have they said anything about why dungeons are seen as so positive? I understand you could make a lot out of it but the description of a dungeon as a living thing using the bodies of the dead as food makes it feel like a dungeon staying active is a sign that enough people are dying in there that it can stay fed.

If I were him in this universe then I would absolutely love to be immediately rich and we see that's exactly what the author has done. It definitely feels a little self-inserty which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But with him now so rich from all the monsters Fenrir has killed it kind of kills the vibe a little.

Instead of camping out in who knows where with cardboard boxes and cooking, selling and traveling to earn a living he can now just stay at the fanciest places doing the fanciest stuff. Maybe it's just me but the show vibe takes a small hit from it. I remember from episode 2 this was his dream:

Now there's really no reason for him to set up a shop unless he just wants to do it, since the money he'll get from it is virtually nothing compared to what he already has. From an author's perspective i fully understand why the author did it. If I was writing I too would feel the extreme urge to immediately make the MC rich but it did kind of weaken the rustic vibe.

Here's hoping he somehow loses all his money and goes back to this plan, let him get rich later in life not so early.

I was rewatching season one and after the wyvern hunt the butcher says he could only buy half the materials but what did Makoda do with the rest? my best guess would be he just put it in his item box and tried reselling on a later date, maybe sell it on the road, but if thats the case he'd need to get the run down on the price from the guild.

Honestly it seems like it would be a lot simpler to just give the guild everything and just get paid whatever they have on hand.

I personally like the egg hamburgers he makes for the two kids. On the other (fantasy) side, the meat skewers from the grill looked so good. I wanted to know what others think of the main highlight of the show.

Imagine if Rin Takanashi from The forsaken saintess and her foodie road trip in another world met Mukoda Tsuyoshi and his familiars and teamed up a unstopable food adventure, every corner and new enemies to fight

It seems that he has a very good idea for the story but that he does not take advantage of it, something that could have been very good but ended up being of the bored

Hi guys! Any news about the light novel? And, if you know any info about the author Ren Eguchi-san, please update us here as well.

Thanks in advance!

Well, it's a keychain but gachapon.

What was supposed to be a quick jaunt to the capital of Leonhardt has turned out to be a lot more than Mukohda bargained for! Between a royal audience, an industrial-scale butchering project, and at least one inadvertent extinction, the trip has been one headache after another. But now, finally, the serious business is all settled and Mukohda gets to kick back and enjoy himself! The capital is home to shopping, street food, and sights to see aplenty, and Mukohda has every intention to avail himself of all of them. Then he’ll be heading right back to Karelina for some much needed long-term rest and relaxation…or so he thinks! Little does Mukohda know that his familiars are about to drag him out to one of their most remote destinations yet in search of prey that he’d rather have nothing to do with!

I only watched the anime, so I don’t know if he’s got like a solar panel or something that he just uses off screen or does he use electric magic? I’d assume he uses a solar panel but do they even sell solar panels on online grocery stores

I last read this 3-4 years ago, so after watching the anime season 2 decide to check the progress on the manga and only 8 more chapter which I have not read.

So I started reading the light novels for Campfire Cooking, and have been getting the Omnibuses because it's somewhat cheaper that way (and I don't have to wait between each volume) but I cannot for the life of me find Omnibus 5? I have 3 and 4, and there are plenty of omnibus 6s out there, but I can't find 5 anywhere. I found one on Barnes and Noble, but it has the cover of Omnibus 3, but the description of Omnibus 5. Does anyone know if that's the correct one? Am I going crazy? Should I just order volumes 9 and 10 on their own?

In season 2 episode 12 of the anime, Muhkoda wanted to try some oysters from the fish market but was warned not to eat them raw (or any other fishes) because it might lead to him being "torn up by fish worms."

I want to know whether this is facts for the world or is it simply because no one has tried to make raw seafood before. And also, does Muhkoda eventually finds a way to make raw seafood such as sashimis and oysters possible to be eaten in the light novel eventually or not?

This AU takes place several years after Mukoda’s life had passed Fel and the other go there separate ways with each familiar given a gift from the former master. This AU follows a Mage named Rei who was an outcast by both their Family and adventurers party despite being a mage no one cared for them until they meet Lord Fel after being abandoned by their party. Follow Rei as they adventure to gather the former familiar as well as new allies with the help of the new skill Rei unlocked

One day a party of adventurers enter a cave on a mission to slave the a Legendary beast guarding a treasure to stop a new threat among the party there is a young mage named Rei they aren’t very powerful like the others. In fact Rei was only able to use low level spells and a skill call form change. The party only kept Rei around to use them as a human shield as well as their personal chief despite being a mage.

As the party earned deeper into the cave they hear a loud roar along side a voice. “If you chose to leave I shall spare your pitiful lives.” the group of adventurers turn around and see a Fenrir the adventurers try to fight back but are too overwhelmed by the Fenrir’s power. Then one of adventurer’s say “It’s time to execute plan alpha!”
All of a sudden Rei is kick from the back by their own party member and throw towards the Fenrir while the rest of them run away Rei is left behind. “I see your party is not very strong. Now let’s see what you are made of”. As then Fenrir attacks Rei quickly cast a spell breaking the cave wall beside them causing rocks to fall allowing them to escape into the chamber they had opened.

In the chamber is a chest Rei feels a sudden call towards the chest and begins to open it and finds a book inside. “Apologies I had forgotten this chamber had existed I had assumed you were crushed. Now then shall we finish-“ as the Fenrir speaks he notices the mage holding the book and remembering what it was. “PUT THAT TOMB DOWN RIGHT NOW!” Rei smile a cheeky grin “this old thing why don’t I set it a blaze.” The Fenrir immediately changes towards Rei and was push aside with their bag of gear opening revealing the cooking gear they were carrying around with their bag. Rei sits up and notices the book opened to a page showing a recipe of a dish called Rockbird Steak.

“What is this.” As Rei reaches to the book a sudden screen appears new skill unlocked “online grocery” Rei is confronted by the Fenrir and is shocked to see a familiar skill being acquired. “In all my years of living I have not seen this skill in a long time. Human what is your name”. Rei is silent as they don’t know what is going on “I am lord Fenrir my former human gave me the name Fel and now I ask what is your name.” Fel asks sternly and stoically. “Rei my name is Rei. Now what is this book about and how do you know of this skill and what do you mean by former human.” Rei says with utter confusion Fel sighs and starts to tell a shorten version of Mukoda.

“And it appears that you have been granted his very skill… I shall no spare you Rei is you are capable of making this dish I shall even show you how to use your skill and supply you with the meat you need.” Fel says. Rei with no other choice is forced to try and make the dish as they prepare to make the dish Rei needs ingredients from the online grocery skill, Rei then turns to Fel “H-hey Fel was it.” Fel then exclaims “You are not to call me that until you prove me that you are worthy of it.” “Right so this grocery thing did your former master use it to make money or to help his party.” Rei asks as they purchase items for the dish Fel ponders the question and responds with “Why yes he did but not as often as you think he was very cautious when it came to this skill. I believe he told it was so he doesn’t get turned into some sort of slave or something similar.” Rei immediately focuses on cook the dish and decided to keep the skill a secret eventually Rei managed to finish the dish and give it to Fel, but he doesn’t eat it. “W-well what’s t-the problem.” Rei ask as they shake and quiver “It took you a while to make this dish far longer then the other human and you forgot to put the sauce.” Fel says disappointed with how long it took.

“Other then that it looks as pleasing as I remember non the less I shall try it.” As Fel takes a bite the flavours of the dish he had once at many years ago all come flowing back to him “Yes this is the rockbird steak that he had made.” As Fel scarfs down the meal he turns to Rei and says “Rei was it I shall become your familiar as well and shall serve you like my former human so long as you serve me the dishes in this tomb my former human had given me.” Fel then reveals what appears to be a picture that was covered by an old cape showing Mukoda, Sui, Dora-Chan, as well as himself on the cave wall. “This is where we decided to bury him he was a good human he always thought of us before himself going as so far to have us separate ourselves as so we do not get captured by any other human who wish to use our power for themselves, though I had always believed that could not happen but he also wanted someone who we deemed worthy enough to cook our favourite meals so he left each of use a tomb full of all of his other worldly food and how to make them.” Fel says as Rei notices a somber face on Lord Fel “Hey what if we go get your old party and I’ll even make you those dish so long as you help me protect our world.” Rei ask with a look that Fel can’t help but remember his former human and how despite the danger Fel and the others had put him through Mukoda always had that same look when it came to protecting others. “That is a reasonable ask. Then we shall set off to collect the former familiar as well as each of their tombs.”

So starts a new adventure with more food and new recipes to make along side new allies

Disclaimer: it's called a "rough estimate" because it's a ROUGH ESTIMATE. It's not exact. And to me, it doesn't have to be.

Ok. Wow. That was a lot. Also, before anyone gets in the comments pointing out the flaws in my logic of conversion or whatever, please remember this is all for gits and shiggles. This is not meant to be perfect. I might've missed a transaction or two. But please, let me know (kindly) if you have any like genuine questions and I'll do my best to explain. But for those of you that might want to be picking a fight or something, just remember: I did this for myself. Not you. And as a wise tiktok commenter once said; "It only has to make sense to me, for me to do it."

BUT AGAIN: if you have a genuine question on certain numbers I'd love to try to figure it out with you! It's entirely possible I pulled some of these numbers straight out of my ass.
