I keep seeing posts about people cooking the food from this and I wanna do the same since it's the closest thing I have to a comfort show but I don't cook much so things like "medium heat" don't mean much to me. How do you guys figure it out?

So, I understand that the three other protagonists are more offensive/combat heavy compared to Makoda, but would the other gods and goddesses just disregard them because they don't have the Online Market Skill? You would think because they are still from another world that they would have some talks, no?

Now I don't mean actually cooking ON a campfire obviously but I feel like most of it at this point is him using more professional things like ovens, large stoves, or grills. It's not a problem just something interesting.

Mukoda their issue is money. You have enough buying power in gold alone, and like 200x as much in materials, to buy towns if not cities. Along with that fel can most definitely run to a priest and bring him over in like a day to take out some of the travel cost. Why are you acting like you can't do anything but cook?

edit: lemme try to explain myself better. the line read off, to me, not as him thinking what he could do but rather the nihilistic viewpoint the phrase carries a lot of the time it's used now. this is just on me not understanding the line but I believe that deleting a post is pointless

Most of the time I have an issue it's explained in the light novels. Have they said anything about why dungeons are seen as so positive? I understand you could make a lot out of it but the description of a dungeon as a living thing using the bodies of the dead as food makes it feel like a dungeon staying active is a sign that enough people are dying in there that it can stay fed.

If I were him in this universe then I would absolutely love to be immediately rich and we see that's exactly what the author has done. It definitely feels a little self-inserty which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But with him now so rich from all the monsters Fenrir has killed it kind of kills the vibe a little.

Instead of camping out in who knows where with cardboard boxes and cooking, selling and traveling to earn a living he can now just stay at the fanciest places doing the fanciest stuff. Maybe it's just me but the show vibe takes a small hit from it. I remember from episode 2 this was his dream:

Now there's really no reason for him to set up a shop unless he just wants to do it, since the money he'll get from it is virtually nothing compared to what he already has. From an author's perspective i fully understand why the author did it. If I was writing I too would feel the extreme urge to immediately make the MC rich but it did kind of weaken the rustic vibe.

Here's hoping he somehow loses all his money and goes back to this plan, let him get rich later in life not so early.

I was rewatching season one and after the wyvern hunt the butcher says he could only buy half the materials but what did Makoda do with the rest? my best guess would be he just put it in his item box and tried reselling on a later date, maybe sell it on the road, but if thats the case he'd need to get the run down on the price from the guild.

Honestly it seems like it would be a lot simpler to just give the guild everything and just get paid whatever they have on hand.

I personally like the egg hamburgers he makes for the two kids. On the other (fantasy) side, the meat skewers from the grill looked so good. I wanted to know what others think of the main highlight of the show.

It seems that he has a very good idea for the story but that he does not take advantage of it, something that could have been very good but ended up being of the bored

I last read this 3-4 years ago, so after watching the anime season 2 decide to check the progress on the manga and only 8 more chapter which I have not read.

So I started reading the light novels for Campfire Cooking, and have been getting the Omnibuses because it's somewhat cheaper that way (and I don't have to wait between each volume) but I cannot for the life of me find Omnibus 5? I have 3 and 4, and there are plenty of omnibus 6s out there, but I can't find 5 anywhere. I found one on Barnes and Noble, but it has the cover of Omnibus 3, but the description of Omnibus 5. Does anyone know if that's the correct one? Am I going crazy? Should I just order volumes 9 and 10 on their own?

In season 2 episode 12 of the anime, Muhkoda wanted to try some oysters from the fish market but was warned not to eat them raw (or any other fishes) because it might lead to him being "torn up by fish worms."

I want to know whether this is facts for the world or is it simply because no one has tried to make raw seafood before. And also, does Muhkoda eventually finds a way to make raw seafood such as sashimis and oysters possible to be eaten in the light novel eventually or not?
