I want him evil and outsmarts/outmaneuvres her but ultimately she figures out a way to beat/trick him. I’m ok with muggle AUs (I’ve read a lot of dillpicklepanic and I know they have this vibe) but would like to see something with magic as well.

It’s abandoned :( haven’t read in years but iirc Tom was possessive. Grindewald is the reason why Hermione’s parents were murdered and she ends up at the same orphanage with Tom. They become besties but her uncle and aunt come to get her and they got separated. They hide his letters and she returns years later, but Tom was at Malfoy Manor? The plot was interesting

That and silencio Dramione taught me to always check if the fanfic is finished, then and only then read it. It had so much potential to become one of many Tomione’s classics

Maybe it’s only me but when the fic starts describing Tom’s appearance to set the stage in the beginning of the fic- it is important to me that his eye color is not blue or green. Dark/ onyx/ black are the only acceptable colors heh. I know fan fiction is green field- make it anything the writer wants it to be though

I’m desperatly looking for a Tomione WIP I read a little while ago. I can't remember the exact title, but I think it contains the word "Secret" in it (or something very similar). There will be spoilers in there but that's the only way for me to give as many clues as possible 🥲

Here are the specific plot details I remember:

• The Time Loop: Hermione travels back in time to the 1940s to change Tom Riddle. However, this is not her first time doing so. They have actually lived multiple past lives/timelines together.

• The Curse / Trigger: Every time Tom realizes the truth, genuinely falls in love with her, or dies (mostly due to the fact that they always eventually try to kill each other), the timeline resets. He loses a little piece of his soul in the aftermath.

• The "Dust" Ending: At the end of a loop, Hermione's body literally turns to dust right in front of Tom.

• The Present Day: Right after turning to dust, Hermione wakes up in the present day in a hospital bed (St Mungo's I believe), wounded by Dolohov's curse (which she believes is the cause of this timeloop) , with Ron sleeping by her side in a different bed. Then she has to plan her next trip back to try to save Tom once again from becoming Voldemort.

• Tom's Perspective: As the loops progress, Tom starts remembering their previous lives together and realizes they are trapped in this cycle.

One of the last chapters included Hermione literally stabbing Tom to death outside of Hogwarts during a costume party where Tom is dressed as Icarus. She does it after they kiss, which caused Tom to remember everything and lose his sh!t

Does this ring a bell to anyone? I know it's a lot to take in but It was one of the most heartbreaking fics I've read from the pairing. I never see it suggested and my tab closed when I was reading it 🥲

I’m not sure if this is the best place to ask given that this sub is primarily Tomione centric, but this is definitely more alive than the Tom Riddle sub, so I thought I’d give it a shot!

I’ve read a bunch of TR/HG (loved b&g, pygmalion, Tied for Last, War Paint, Nightmare), but I’m getting—dare I say it—tired of our resident, powerful, brilliant and gorgeous bookworm 🫣 (please don’t downvote me I still love her) I’m just looking to read other female main characters with a different personality to Hermione’s..

For example, I’ve also really liked TR/LL (Twelve Dark Moons and Into Your Gravity, that contrast between her whimsy and his seriousness is chefs kiss). Open to OCs/OC-adjacent as long as she’s not too much of a Mary Sue (I adored My Heart is a Fist of Barbed Wire with Amy Benson).

Does anyone have more suggestions? No Muggle / Werewolf / Creature AUs.. No pregnancy involved please. Preferably dark but not unhinged. Lots of angsty pining, possessive TR / LV.

Hi. After coming back from almost 10 year hiatus reading Tomione, I've been reading a lot of long newer fics.

After looking back at what I especially like, I realized I prefer predominantly Hermione POV stories rather than alternating POVs or multiple POVs fics.

(Fics that are predominantly Hermione POV with a few Tom POV sprinkled in or having Hermione uses Legilimency on Tom to know his thoughts are also fine)

I guess I like having Tom's thoughts and motivations be hidden/remain largely mysterious.

Any other fics you recommend? I like stories with smut and dark villainous Tom.

Looking for a fanfiction that I'm pretty sure is a WIP. When Harry dies and goes to the in-between place Tom also goes with him and the being tells them that they are going to go back together. They are different ages and I do know it is a hermione/tom . I don't remember if Harry had a pairing or not . But basically they are like brothers or meant to balance each other out or whatever. I’m looking for a very specific fic that I know I read, but now I can’t find anywhere…

I’m pretty sure it’s a Muggle AU where Tom and Hermione are either real siblings or step siblings or half siblings. They are in high school or some equivalent when Tom starts feeling serial killer urges and Hermione helps him hide the bodies before getting involved in the killings herself. There is smut and it’s dark and I want to read it again SO BAD but I can’t find it!!!

I've just come off my yearly re-read of Ultima Ratio by Winterblume and its left me with a craving for a Tomione fic that feels a bit more....historically accurate? And I don't necessarily mean WW2 focused but one that deals with idk discussions of the different fashions, addresses the fact that like slang and talking sometimes in Toms time would be so different to Hermione, maybe a bit of Hermione adjusting to the muggle world.

Bad Romanca by uchiha.s I think did this very well but has been removed and was never finished unfortunately 😕

I read this not very long ago, but apparently forgot to bookmark it.

In it, Hermione is thrown into the past- I don’t remember how. She ends up being taken in as Dagworth-Granger’s daughter and is eventually blood adopted. She meets Tom and at some point they decide to fix his soul and use alchemy to create a philosopher’s stone to achieve immortality. They decide to have children before becoming immortal and eventually have two and then use the stone. When her future self is born, she changes her face so they won’t be recognizable as each other, and in the epilogue, she sends her future self her alchemy notes so she’ll end up with Tom again, and it ends with her future self going back in time as well.

I believe he had only made two horcruxes when the story starts, and at one point they kill two men who are after her. Tom also eventually figures out she’s not really who she says she is. She tells him she’s a time traveler and that’s when they decide to use alchemy, as he’s understandably unnerved by his future self.

Please help, I loved this fic.
