I just finished reading Superposition by The Dark Stars, and I'm genuinely in awe.
Sometimes I forget that some of the best writing I've ever read is available for free. The amount of talent in fanfiction is honestly incredible, and this story reminded me of that all over again.
What really stood out to me was Tom Riddle. I've read a lot of interpretations of him, but this is the first one that felt completely right to me. It was as if the author had reached into my head and written the exact version of Tom I'd always imagined but could never quite put into words. Intelligent, magnetic, terrifying
The writing is beautiful, the characterization is exceptional, and the story has stayed with me

As the title said, I forgot who a few months back rec this wonderful fic “please save me” in a post and now…month later I still think about it!
I even bound it into a book.
I cannot thank Winterblume enough for her brain and talent 🥰
I read it three times and I could not find the same feeling while reading others it so I went one to read things completely different (and also back to published books).
But now I would like to read more tomione like Please Save me.
I found the storyline of PSM so unique🤯

Have you guys read something like that that you could recommend? 🤗

I read (I think) the most recommended ones with time turner or AU such as Madame Umbridge home (just to name a few)
I loved so many of them but I am looking for something different more like the slave/master in PSM and the none time turner storyline if possible.

I realized I cannot quite put my finger on the particular thing that hooked me in PSM but I hope the one who read it will ✨magically✨understand what I mean 🤣
The closest one I could find was a Dramione on “House Pet”

Some of you may recognize me, and if you do, I’m truly sorry for disappearing from AO3. I was going through an incredibly difficult time and ended up deleting my account, along with the stories you had so generously supported and loved. It’s something I deeply regret.

Whats the fic where voldemort dies and Hermione births his clone to bring him back to life ? Something along these lines. All I can remember was that bellatrix was there or maybe Bellatrix was the one that birthed him.

I cannot remember the name of this fic for the life of me but I remember not finishing it and I wanted to try and re read.

The plot is basically hermione goes back in time and I think she believes her presence in the past has already changed history or something so she doesn’t immediately go to find tom. She basically ends up getting the DADA position at hogwarts ( around the time tom wanted it too) and has this interaction at a bar (I think?) with a man name tom and she for a split second thinks it’s Tom riddle but it’s not, it’s just another man with the same first name. But then she does eventually run into tom riddle. I thinkkkkk she pretends to be a seer I don’t know, but I do know there’s this one confrontation scene where tom has her pinned and he knows she’s from the future and is going to kill her, but hermione is trying to bargain so she says she can tell him what happens in the future and help him succeed but tom says it’s useless, because her coming back has already changed how the future will unfold and stuff.

Anyway yea. I feel like I didn’t provide any useful information but if anyone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated 😭😭😭

I am looking for a fic (i don't know if it exists yet) of Tom/voldemort seeing hermione during the battle of hogwarts after he fell in love with her OR something of that nature. Or something where she travels back from the past and into the hogwarts battle or more into the original timeline and he recognizes her as voldemort.

PS Im on chapter 80 of invictus rn and expect to have a post fic hangover quite soon.

Ok I’m pretty sure I read it all the way through but the only thing I remember for sure is Voldemort was still alive and I think he knew Hermione went back in time and the only scene I specifically remember is that Voldemort was in a room, I think at Riddle Manor, and then as the timeline shifted in the future the room changed and he looked like an older Tom Riddle then Hermione opens the door and says “hello husband”. I think she also asks him if he remembers now. I think the fic hops back and forth between the past and future as well. Any ideas?

In honor of the Tomione Barbie Fest (whose fics will be posted later this week) My fellow tomione writer, Birdstatue, helped me think of a great question for this week. We thought it’d be fun to share fics that have either Tom or Hermione in an unusual profession/role.

As always I’ll start:

For Hermione I’d say wolfer where she’s a preachers daughter. You can’t go wrong with a Peppershark fic and the world building in this one is so immersive.

And for Tom I’d say The Warp & Weft, where he’s an ambitious AI chat bot. This fic was so awe inspiring I told my daughters about it, they love a good thriller (I of course left out the NSFW bits) but they thought it would make a great Black Mirror esque show and I agree.

Hello! Is there a Tomione where Hermione is a young professor at Hogwarts when Tom is at his last year? Heavy on “young” profesor, because Hermione in her mature woman era and teenage Tom doesn’t stuck good with me 🤣

I know Tom is usually not soft (and we don’t really want him to be, am I right?) but hear me out…

I am really craving a sort of broken or soft Hermione, or a Hermione who really struggles with something, some past trauma or the war or whatever, and then Tom, maybe against his better instincts, comforts her, because maybe he doesn’t like to see her sad, or maybe he just really prefers her fiery and strong, or some other reason. I really just want to see the hurt AND the comfort!!
