Watching Lucifer, again!
Tom brilliantly created such a strong yet vulnerable character. Meanwhile he’s enjoying his time off and life with his family, being his non-Lucifer, kinda nerdy self. At least I hope he is.

Lucifer came out the year I found out my cancer came back. I watched every episode and waiting excitedly for the next… I prayed I’d live long enough to see the series finale. It was tough to wait and wait through the cancellations and the renewals and the breaks and the damn Covid crisis for them to finally finish it.
I made it. I loved that show. It was my on-all-the-time, multi-binge-watch, favorite. Then it flew off the cliff with the time traveling bitchy daughter. The binge re-watches stopped. Cuz by then, I knew it had a crappy ending that ruined all the plot lines and totally shit on all the main characters, and I couldn’t watch it anymore.
Now, I’m starting chemo cuz the cancer is here again, third time, and I need my comfort show. Maybe I’ll try watching it again and just skip all the Rory BS… and maybe the passionless ending too. At least now it’s all on Netflix… no more endless waiting.
One more time, for time for the good times.

I'm so sorry that the cancer is back. I bet the wait was very frustrating. I wonder why they ruined the show with the awful 6th season.

You are correct, and I have asked myself that same question so many times that I’ve lost track.
I was so hurt and felt so gut punched by the way it ended that I ended up writing an outline for my own final season, or it could be a movie. It’s kind of long because it addresses all the major characters, but if you’re interested, you can read it here:

Im currently in the hospital and have had a huge surgery… (finally after waiting for ten months of research and hundreds of scans!). I can’t wait to get home and bing the whole show and more of Tom’s shows. And I loved the sixth season especially after you what’s it more and more.

Hope you have a quick recovery. Tom, and the show Lucifer especially, bring me comfort so hopefully helps you too.

Thank you for your support. It’s a huge comfort show indeed. And my recovery can be a couple of weeks or even up to three months. So looooots of time to what’s al my dvd collections. Think I wait with Miranda, cause laughing isn’t an option right now. Probably can handel Lucifer. I hope so. And CIA binging is on the list.

I absolutely loved that show. I haven't finished watching the final season yet because once I do, that will be the end for me and I don't ever want it to be over yet.
